"Churches today are too busy polishing their shields to actually use them"
Weirsbe clearly, concisely and convincingly works through the need to put the tin of polish down and be prepared for battle. A very helpful commentary on well known but oft-forgotten verses.
'Put on the Gospel armour, each piece put on with prayer; where duty calls or danger, be never wanting there.'

Brief and basic exposition of the Christians armor in Ephesians 6. Practical, but not particularly deep.
