This beautiful, oversized book features 36 horse breeds--domestic, feral, and wild; pony, light, and heavy. One horse breed is featured on each double page spread. Each spread has several facts about the breed, and a "Fact file" sidebar which lists group, height, color, character, origin, and use. Each spread also features a large, gorgeous painting of the breed, which takes up at least a third to 0ne-half of the spread. This is a beautiful book for children who want to learn about various horse breeds.
