I read this book over a course of months because it’s just the kind of interactive book that invites you to bring what you read about into your own daily life. Having read a few books on Hygge, the Danish art of creating warm, cozy experiences and spaces in which to relax, connect and enjoy life, I was drawn to the journal like format of this book. I always find journaling can become a continuation of my reading experience and help me relate what I read to my own life in a tangible way. Reading 100 Hygge Challenges also made me realize how much my life has already included pastimes, experiences and gatherings that fit the Hygge way of living. Now when someone asks me what my philosophy of living is, I might just say I’m living the Hygge life.
