I want to preface this review by saying that I am one of the authors in this anthology. Now you may think me biased and I would have agreed with you prior to reading Volume 1: Poetry & Nonfiction simply because all of the writers are colleagues. We see each other's names and see each other at a team Zoom Meetings, but I until today, I had not read much of their work.

Volume 1 - is a wonderful compilation of Poetry and Nonfiction articles that span the spectrum of genres. The Poems take you on a wild emotional ride and the nonfiction pieces bring insight and knowledge about subjects you may be familiar with and you may not. You will see each subject a little differently by the end of each article and that's a great thing.

I highly recommend Volume 1 to anyone who loves poetry and nonfiction. There is something for everyone and it stretches the reader a bit as they explore genres not usually considered.

I enjoyed some of the work in here very much, especially some of the poetry. And as always with anthologies, it's nice to get a little taste of a variety of authors--I found a number whose work I would enjoy reading more of.

All these incredible writers in one book, wait, two books. One is nonfiction and poetry, the Volume 2 is fiction. My hats are off to all the beautiful stories and poems. This would make a great gift for anyone who loves to read!
