APPERRO: Key to The Empire (Pilot Script) covers the first episode of the new television drama series created by Savania China. In the first episode of the epic drama, we are introduced to the empire of Apperro at the beginning of the Fourth Sept Celebration, a ceremony to mark the beginning of the Key to the Empire Challenge in which the two protagonists and heirs to the throne (twins, Dara and Tara) compete for the ultimate prize - the empire. The siblings will compete in challenges covering sports, politics, war, and leadership. But these are not games; they are real life challenges with life and death consequences. As the palace celebrates, ominous forces of change are sweeping across the empire and its hinterlands. These forces threaten centuries of peace and prosperity and thrusts the young heirs at the centre of an upheaval that threaten the very existence of the empire. Will the empire hold together? And which twin will win the challenge and ultimately the key to the empire?--------------------------------------------------------- This publication is the original pilot script of the television series and not a novel. By reading this, you can experience the story like a Hollywood director. Following the story of Apperro through the script will evoke the action and characters in ways not possible through a novel nor through the final, edited silver screen version.
At the time of writing, December 2020, I am, like the rest of the world, still grappling with the hail-maker that was the year 2020. But despite all the turmoil and ups and (mostly) downs, I managed to find time to put pen to paper, or more aptly, fingers to keyboard. I have continued to grow as a writer and I am confident my 2021 books/books will be leaps and bounds ahead of what I have so far put out. But that's not to take away from my work to date. This year, I published a children's book, by far my proudest publication to date, not because of the quality of the work, but because of the essence. For the first time in my life, I have been writing what I want and love, not what I think readers will love. I hope all my work from here on will reflect this kind of creative freedom. Hope you enjoy browsing and reading from my expanded catalogue of fiction and nonfiction work.
