About the author

I had read all of these stories previously and loved them. It was a treat to read them all again. The stories contain enough mystery danger and suspense to keep anyone happy. Add in the romance and you have everything you could possibly ask for. To get them in a set is an added bonus.

I should warn you that this book set has a few triggers: PTSD, Child abuse, Sex abuse, Rape, Animal abuse, Murder and Homelessness if you have any of these triggers you may want to pass on this set. Now the characters do overcome/recover but you should be warned if you have emotional triggers.

OK to start this is the the review that I did for Run when I read it months ago....Nothing changed I even reread the whole book. Yes I am that reader...

RUN: Josh and Paige:
Once I found the time to start this book I could not stop until I had read the whole thing.
I loved the WHOLE thing. The story kept me on my toes and I started cheering at the end.
My grand kids thought I lost my mind.
I loved this book so much that I went online and brought the whole series, I have to know what happens to everyone in the book.
You will not regret reading or buying this book.

HIDE: Owens and Heather:
And the story continues and it continues with a bang, Kidnapping, murder/suicide, explosions and that is just in the first chapter.
You will fall for Owen and Heather as they both try to help each other and keep their secrets safe. There was so many twist and turns in this story that I had to go back and read it again because I thought I had missed something. You know that little bit of information that did not register until to late. I am officially hooked on Whisper Cove and Allison LaFleur she had me with Noah's Boys now called Bachelors Incorporated.

Burn: Caleb and Avery: Now this one took me out.
OMG I just kept saying this to myself the whole time I read this story. How the hell did they make it through. This story had me in tears, I laughed and cried but I made it through it with a cheer for Caleb and Avery. I don't as a rule have triggers but I know people that do and this one took me out. It is a hard read because of all of the back stuff that happened to both of them and a few others in the story. You will make it through and be thankful for your life.

Fight: Daniel and Abby: This one was another hard read for me. I found out that yes I do have emotional triggers ( When I started this story I had to stop when I realized where it was going)

I did read the story and made it through. The story-line was hard for me but it is a great book. You will enjoy it, and I loved Nana and Fin. It will show you that you can build a family and live happily ever after in spite of what life and the Devil throw at you. It is you choice to live or take up space.

All of the stories get 5 stars. And I would recommend it.

Whisper Cove may be small but it sure does attract some interesting people

This box set contains the four book of the Whisper Cove series - RUN, HIDE, BURN and FIGHT. I had already read the first book of the series so when the opportunity to read and review the box set came up I was excited. Allison LaFleur has done a great job with these well written, engaging and entertaining books. They do have some triggers but they are not overly dark. But if you cannot handle certain things then you might want to pass on this series. Let's just say that Whisper Cove and it's inhabitants are an interesting lot with more than a few secrets and demons. But there is friendship, love, caring, healing mixed in with the drama, suspense and mystery.
I really enjoyed reading this box set and would recommend it.

I think Whisper Cove is a nice but isolated place to live. Everyone knows and helps each other.
This box takes you away to this beautiful place.
The story between Paige and Josh was nice but I felt sorry for Paige because she suffered from amnesia after her accident.
Josh was the real sweetheart and took good care of her.
Owen and Heather were a lovely couple as well, both with political backgrounds, they found each other over a ship wreck and sculptural abilities.
My favorite story was the one between Avery and Caleb, two wounded souls who find each other! I loved each chapter of it!
A must read.
The last story was about Abby, the new doctor in town, and Daniel, the handyman.
This was also a very lovely story but I found Abby sometimes a little harsh towards Daniel.

Book one: Dude fucks the amnesiac one day after meeting her? wtf
Book two: interesting concept but somehow boring as hell? Also poorly executed ETA: I ALMOST FORGOT that the chick who's been fucking him for a matter of days or MAYBE weeks tries to get him to dump his best friend OF YEARS and SHE'S the female lead and it's just like... not even a blip on anyone's radar.
Book three: meh.
Book four: how the fuck am I supposed to want that asshole manchild to have custody? ANY possible redemption or growth is NEVER SEEN ON PAGE, this might have gotten a 2 star meh if it hadn't been for this truly TERRIBLE entry

I love when an author combines their stories in a box set. It makes it so much easier to read the stories. I really liked this box set. It has a bit of everything going for it. You meet 4 Alpha men and the women who capture and secure the hearts of these men. Whisper Cove if it really exists is one place I would move to especially with the men that are in this book. It has humor and drama mixed with suspense and some pretty dirty thoughts. Very good set!

This is the four books in the Whisper Cove series. The books are Run (Paige & Josh), Hide (Heather & Owen), Burn (Avery & Caleb), and Fight (Abby & Daniel). Each book is well written and has a great storyline. The characters are interesting and believable. They have a very nice mix of romance, suspense, and steaminess. They can be read as standalones, but I think they are much better read together in order. If you like romantic suspense with a good amount of heat, then these are the books for you.

Four men living in a tiny town with just about 700 inhabitants, friends since they were young. Falling fast and hard was not in their plan, but when their respective partner arrive in Whisper Cove, traumatised, they help as a group, each with their own special skills.
A nice collection of romantic suspense. Well-written and fun to read. It is highly unlikely that such a small town would draw that many desperate women in such a short time - but entertaining.

These books do have some triggers but they are not overly dark. Whisper Cove is very interesting with secrets, demons but of course there is love, friendship and mixed in with the drama, suspense and mystery. This is an incredible boxset you don't want to miss out on! I enjoyed reading all the books in this collection. All the stories are entertaining and steamy. A great set of romances that you won't be able put down. With some plot twists along the way, the stories kept me on the edge of my seat anxiously turning the pages to see what would happen next. This is a wonderful collection that will give you hours of reading pleasure, so don't miss out!

This steamy romantic suspense boxed set does have some triggers but is a great weekend binge-read. The characters are well developed, likable, and relatable. The storylines are well written and engaging, with drama, danger, twists, suspense, and romance.

The story lines caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

I guess I should have been able to realize the level of suspense in these stories by the titles. I didn’t however realize that number of triggers that would be present within this box set. This was a set of books with compelling storylines. Once I started reading, it was impossible to put down. The characters are fully fleshed out with intimate detail. The storylines are captivating in their suspense, action and amazing chemistry. Great set.

Don’t let the title fool you, there are some dark themes and thus possible triggers in this wonderful box set. It contains 4 short stories each concentrating on a different couple. I enjoyed each of the books and liked the characters in them. I found the plots to be interesting and engaging, easily holding my attention.

This is the first four stories in the "Whisper Cove" series. They are stand alone reads, with connected characters, set in a small town! I read each of them individually but glad I got to read them again. The stories have a good mix of mystery, suspense and romance. Allison LaFleur and Beneva Clark make a great team and have done a great job developing the stories and the characters. I loved all four of these; good stories with intrigue, steam, twists and a wonderful endings.
