It’s engaging, and makes you want to keep reading, and it’s complex and well done" "The first book gave you a buzz, this book is electric, I can't wait for the third one" "I found The Eagle And The Jaguar to be incredibly imaginative, surprisingly intricate, action-packed, emotional and wonderfully visual. I felt that I was there in the moment along with the characters much of the time, and I enjoyed the small details that really breathed life into the characters and their surroundings. I find the whole notion of spirit beasts, the Chichen, and the Almec super fascinating! The characters are pretty badass, and they have sweet weapons!"
