Great concept but got board.

This is totally a book for computer geeks. Unfortunately, I am not one of them. I do think it's an interesting way to introduce programming to young people, but if the story couldn't hold my attention... Yeah... I think the concept is a good one but the story was too dry.

The actual programming aspect of the story was good and easy to understand and I think that the idea of the story made the programming more relatable. So I think it could be a good learning tool. I barely got through half the story before I had to stop. To be honest, I will only pick up this book again if my child shows an interest in programming, then perhaps I can update this review at that time.

It breaks my heart to not give a better review because I think we need more books about STEM in the world.
