BOOK 4 of the SERIES

Astra Romanov would like to be anybody but who she is, a third-generation witch. She struggles at the family business. She is an outsider, with only one friend, Amelia. She is, also, trapped by an invisible fence, cursed by her mother, so that Liliya is free to go where she pleases.

Then one day, Astra sees a handsome young man, named Constantine, and falls in love. Like a butterfly, she emerges from her shell, unknowing that their families are lifelong enemies with more than a few grudges.

And besides, Constantine is in love with someone else, a woman so sophisticated and beautiful that Astra doesn’t see how she can possibly compete. A passion that powerful, well it could only be the spell of a witch.

I fell in love with the Romanov Witches in the first book Undying Witch. I enjoyed reading each book in the Romanov Witches Origins series and getting to know each and every sister/witch’s stories. I love all the witches as they are very unique in their own way. They each bring their own magical personalities to the series. I like that they each have their own individual powers. Their story starts in 1918 and travels all the way to 2007.

The oldest is Dima, a 187-year-old shapeshifter who needs the help of a shapeshifting stone to shift. Next is Medea who turns into a cat at night. Then there is Nikki who is a necromancer and talks to ghosts. Then there is Liliya who has magic so powerful no insane person should have. And the youngest of all is 19-year-old Astra, Dima’s granddaughter, and Liliya’s daughter.

Liliya’s magic is so strong that she had to be cursed to keep her magic at bay. Liliya has been trying to break the curse for a very long time. She has been waiting and biding her time for the right moment to come along.

Astra goes in search of someone who can help her learn how to become better with her magic. She finds a tutor who is not completely compliant in helping Astra but Astra makes her a deal that she can’t quite refuse.

Cursed Witch is a fast-paced magical read that was very hard to put down. I love all the witches and their magical personalities. I love their relationships with each other. I love how they stick together as a family even if they are not close or maybe don’t even like each other very much.

I hate to see the Romanov Witches Origins series come to an end with Cursed Witch but it sure has been a happy and humorous magical journey with the Romanovs. But at the same time, I can’t wait to check out their spinoff Paranormal Romance Series: Romanov Witches Romance especially after that ending which was huge! Well, at least I hope that the new series will elaborate more on that ending.

I highly recommend Cursed Witch: 2007 to all fans of magic! I also highly recommend the rest of the Romanov Witches Origins series. Be sure to check out the whole series. There are three more books, Undying Witch: 1918 to 1933, Sister Witch: 1934 to 1952, and Daughter Witch: 1952 to 2001. So, one-click your copy of Cursed Witch: 2007 today for another great magical read today! And if you have not read the rest of the Romanov Witches stories then be sure and check them out as well!
