On what is fiction versus what is real, how facing the “ghosts” of our past is the only way to move past them, and all the incongruities and imperfections that comprise our fleeting lives, this book is as enthralling as it is unique! I could tell the author’s work as a psychotherapist informed this novel and its interesting yet flawed characters: Geeky Guy, the “Therapist Emeritus,” and the Resident Saint (among many others!) are evidence of a life grappling with the mysteries of human emotions, struggles, and experiences. This book has a fabulous sense of humor and a sensitivity to humanity that couple to create a truly fascinating mystery.
