"Tapestry of Life Cadences", is an anthology, which houses a curated collection of stories and poetries all highlighting the myriad shades of life. The stories are written in English, while the poetries are written in Hindi, and I feel this aspect is what sets this book unique. As a person who can read both English and Hindi, I find this confluence of languages very refreshing.

In terms of versatility, the book scores pretty well, since I liked the way the author conveyed his views and philosophies with utmost simplicity. Following up to that, the writing style was simple and straightforward, laced with emotions and words straight from the heart. What did bother me was the few grammatical errors or discrepancies that had crept in. Call it a pet peeve, but grammatical errors and poor editing very much put me off.

Overall, the book is a must-read for those who enjoy savoring the flavors of life, who like cherishing the little defining moments of existence and the surrounding environment. So if you are someone who enjoys stories and poetry, then do give this book a read!

This book consists of anecdotes of people from different walks of life, in forms of - flash fiction snippets, retelling of classic love stories, essays, letters, and some hindi shayaris.
I liked reading the two part letters, from a father to daughter, the most!
I appreciate the myriad of emotions author has tried to showcase and it's a good job to show so many feelings in a crisp format. Some stories leave you thinking. The writing style is good and lucid. Stories are vivid and can be visualised.
The cover is good - and so is the title - reading that title you'll wonder what the book can be about?
However, there were many grammatical errors: the usage of 'u' over 'you' , way too many ellipses in places a better syntax could've been formed.
This is author's first book and he has done an overall a good job!
Anyone who is a beginner reader, and wants to start reading can opt for this one.

❇️ ABOUT: This books is a collection of short stories and poems based on topics like love, family, life, etc. Written in two languages, hindi and english, all the pieces are very well presented.🌻
✴️ REVIEW: The pieces were beautifully written. The language wasn't hard to understand. Nothing was dragged or. Though there were a few grammatical errors here and there. This was my first try at anthology and I was not disappointed. I loved how the author described so many different emotions and characters. Even though it is a short book, reading it in one go won't do because feeling and understanding takes time. I would recommend this book to everyone specially poetry/Anthology beginners.💚

Reading this book is a journey. When you read it, multiple lives revolve around you and they interconnect within each other. The story of Romeo and Juliet, where the fates were the same but the journey was different – real, believable. The conversations a father wants to have with his daughter, conversations within himself, stories of love where love isn’t viewed a possibility. It all comes together in this book and blossoms.
It’s a small book- just a little over a hundred pages – but it is one that would take a while to read. From what I experienced, there were times when I felt stupefied by the text, lost in thought, and times where I was inspired enough to pen down my own words.
However, no book is perfect. This one too has its flaws. And while it is perfectly fine text even with those flaws, one that should be given attention to is editing. While reading the book, I felt there was a need for another round of editing, just to rectify simple errors of grammar and spelling and to trim the text a little to make it more crisp for a better impact.
Other than that, this book was a good read and I definitely recommend it!

We often miss the nuances of life in the rush of it. But this book shows us the little moments where we share love, heartbreak, pain and yearn for love.
Father's love, unrequited parental love, romantic love and many other aspects are discussed in this book. It brings back the feel of those moments and this book is surely a tapestry of life. Such an apt title and a beautiful book.
I give 4/5 stars for this book

'Tapestry of life Candeses' is an anthology written by Prabhupad Mishra and published by Notion press.
The book is a beautiful collection of prose,poetry and short stories in both English and Hindi language. It covers various topics like love, heartbreak, family etc. It's an amazing journey of 113 pages.
Some stories have unfinished ending which make you imagine and will increase your curiosity level.
It'll make you dive into creative imagination.
The title of the book is attracted me as it contains the word 'Tapestry' and I was curious to know the meaning of this word. So the word 'Tapestry' is used in reference to an intricate or complex sequence of events.It is pretty interesting, isn't it?
The language used in the book is simple and lucid. As it contains Hindi poems, my mom also read them and liked them too. I liked the gratitude part, there,the author has amazingly described how beautiful the human form is.
After reading the book,even I felt like writing something.

When I picked this book, I thought it to be just another addition to my shelf but I never imagined it to be such a different and refreshing take on the literature.
'Tapestry Of Life Cadences' is a collection of short tales in a poetic fashion. It may seem easy to pen down such a to the point book with no protagonist but in reality, it's the most cumbersome thing to carve creative stories in few words with lifetime lessons.
The thing which intrigued me the most about this book is the subjects author has chosen and the language he has employed. From talking about parents unrequited love to the touching messages of father to his daughter to the infinite capacity of achieving the unthinkable a human possesses to the astounding hindi tales of love, he covers it all. The title and cover of book does full justice to the content inside as well. A calm, serene read which casts a magical spell on you on completion.

It is mainly dedicated to us, common people.
The concept is very unique and will keep you hooked till the end. The stories included are based on various topics such as hate, acceptance, love and so much more. Everything is based on the diversity of different human minds.
The characters were very well developed. What attracted me towards this book was the title, that is very unique. The language used is lucid. The book has both English and Hindi poems.
It is a must-read. Recommended to all readers.

A beautiful cumulative of short stories portraying different lifestyles and how to react to them.
Probably the best way to describe this book is a guidebook for the soul. It draws from the great traditions of wisdom and is essentially a book about life, and ultimately death. It contains a year of wisdom that doesn’t always pertain to a person’s circumstances or life, but when it does it’s quite powerful.

If poetry combined with prose, this book would be the result! I was utterly enjoying each and every line, that I actually completed the book in one go. This book is a series of short stories based on various human emotions and feelings. Things that cant be put into words have been intricately woven into a tapestry of short stories by the author. This is really good work and that language is so simple and no complicated terms are used to describe life's cadences. Thus this book is a very good suggestion for first-time readers and also for someone who wants to wake up from a reading slump.

This book is an anthology of stories and poems in English and poems in Hindi with Urdu diction. The theme of many stories is soulful love between men and women which is so pure and so divine that even Gods and nature are jealous of. Also, there are few portraying child and parents relationship. The poems in Hindi are reminiscences of the past. I really loved the book as I could feel my soul so engrossed in the book that I was oblivious to the world outside.
I really like the book. What I enjoyed most was the depth in writings. The love that was portrayed in the stories was not that which existed only at physical level but it was much beyond extending to the heart and soul, patient enough to wait. If I am asked to pick one story I liked most it was ‘You are in me, the way I am in you’. My heart melted that the story and its narration. I won’t deny but I had a big crush on Prince, one of the protagonists in the story. I felt like that if this story is converted into novella or novel, the audience will admire it more.
“Each heartbreak will teach you that beyond every sadness, their lies supreme happiness.
Each heartbreak will lead you further towards your penchant for an unending capacity to love”
The language and writing style is really captivating. The content is even more engulfing. The writings are really pensive. Though each story or poem is so small that it runs into few pages, but this very fact can’t dilute the truth that each word, story and poem penned down by author, permeates the soul and heart of reader so deeply that the one feels the hangover of the book for days, weeks and months altogether.
I feel like re-reading this book in loop. Also, I look forward to read more from the author.
The cover page is attractive and enticing. When I read the title for the very first time, I din’t knew what it means, it was when I searched the meaning ,I got the picture clear. The packaging was decent. The paper quality and printing quality is good. The font size, style and spacing also make the reading joyful.
If you love to read short stories and poems and are looking for a nice read, this book is perfect for you! Do read!

Off lately, I am reading a lot of Anthology books. I could just connect with very few of them, so you can say that I am very picky when it's about Anthologies. I still haven't found an Anthology book that I could rely 100% on and say that this is my favorite anthology book, so I am a little sad about it. Anyway, this book "Tapestry Of Life Cadences" is a fantastic book filled with lively and relatable feelings, making readers connect to it and make them engaged reading the book and connecting with all the anthology stories.

The cover page of the book is too attractive. The title makes any reader pick the book up as exciting, especially for a bookworm. I mean, you will know it if you are a bookworm. All the anthologies are so meaningful. The writing made those beautiful anthologies feel lively and vibing with the reader. So there are a few poems, verses and you could also see some short stories. I am using that term because a few characters were used to make out another story.

Generally, suppose you pick up an anthology book. In that case, they are so challenging to read somehow, maybe because of too many characters or different storylines every time. Still, this book will make you feel at peace as the writing style is excellent. This book works for all those who don't read Anthology and the ones who read them. Still, a very few, so if you are looking for an Anthology book in lucid languages with a deep, meaningful feel to it, this is the book for you.

As twilight comes, everyday, I sit to read. And after a long time coming, I decided to read a book on imagination, yes. My dusk in it's imagination is twilight at six and two.
@prabhupad.mishra invokes the sensibility of a reader as well as a writer in accosting wild beseeching imaginary truths. I have had a bit of success with multiple genre books and this story-poetry compilation is compendium on the power of imagination. And what it unfolds.
In reading Mishraji, I read me. Tapestry is miscellanea. Quite corpus in meting out a well churned thought process. Tapestry Of Life Cadences is a Hinglish attempt to bring rejuvenation to the kind of content which is out there by the wonderful Mishraji whom I am glad to have come across, more so as a human than a writer. But let's talk about the writing and what's written!
If you don't like fiction, you will probably be limited in exploring a book like this but if you want to explore poetic justice, a pause in finality even as you wish that why don't I read more Hindi poems and more non conforming writing from Indian authors who can tell their tale in multiple languages, without disrupting the flow or the break.
Original, clever, a product of imagination and creative juices, Tapestry Of Life Cadences walks the walk. And talks the talk. To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.
Through this book, the author aims in invoking the sensibilities of a writer, ignoring forms and restrictions. If you are looking for a classic dual language experience and not loom vastly in the existential crisis of new strains of COVID, read this debut!

If you don't like fiction, you will probably be limited in exploring a book like this but if you want to explore poetic justice, a pause in finality even as you wish that why don't I read more Hindi poems and more non conforming writing from Indian authors who can tell their tale in multiple languages, without disrupting the flow or the break.
Original, clever, a product of imagination and creative juices, Tapestry Of Life Cadences walks the walk. And talks the talk. To be creative means to be in love with life. You can be creative only if you love life enough that you want to enhance its beauty, you want to bring a little more music to it, a little more poetry to it, a little more dance to it.
Through this book, the author aims in invoking the sensibilities of a writer, ignoring forms and restrictions. If you are looking for a classic dual language experience and not loom vastly in the existential crisis of new strains of COVID, read this debut!

This is not just an ordinary book like other it was an anthology book which was filled with different type of gener, topic and show us the different type of writings in every chapter also.
It was not like as other anthologies out there because the way how author narrate everything and in other words i can say that how he portrayed everything is just amazing.
This book is the amazing collection of different type of poetries, short stories, prose e.t.c although they are written in different language too (Hindi and English). But on thing i can surely say that this book is full pack of collection for every reader for sure.
Each and every of them are filled with different type of feelings and it touches different aspects of life like Love, Heartbreak e.t.c. and some of them are not even finished just for giving us the space so we can imagine the ending of it by ourselves.
It was an short book but the way how author filled different type of aspects in this , it will surely leave immense impact on readers for sure.
The way how author narrated everything is on the point and the language used by the author is simple so even beginner can easily be able to gasp everything. But i like it even more if he make it even for fast paced.
Book cover is beautiful and it has the potential to attract readers towards this book

Tapestry refers to a piece of heavy cloth with pictures or designs sewn on it in coloured thread.
Whereas Cadences' refers to the rise and fall of the voice in speaking.
The title itself gives the vibe of a deep thought Provoking content that a reader like me who often searches for books where the emotions are poured & imagination and life experience merge together passing a deep message.
'Tapestry of Life Cadences' is a collection of stories and poems in both English and Hindi that are too pleasant to read.
The Author has written his heart out that I was able to connect with every single word.
As the title concentrates on a life as a whole, the content is not restricted but instead it is broad like our life covering various aspects and emotions that a person go through in their life.
As the stories are short, they pass the message in a clear way and there is no chance given for boredom.
There are some stories that literally leave a long lasting impression.
However the poems were no less.

Imagination is the voice of the soul, and in his book 'Tapestry of Life Cadences', Prabhupad Mishra uses that language to its fullest. It is a collection of short stories, each a different flavour of its own.
To be honest, when I started with the book, I didn't know what to expect. The blurb at the end of the book was more of a preface than a blurb. I dropped in blind in the narration but was happy with what it contained. The stories were short but so full of life. As the author had wanted the readers to delve into imagination, he surely carved the path with his writing. The literary devices of personification and metaphors were used in plenty. Although I couldn't read the last few Hindi poems since I am not well-versed with reading this language. Nonetheless, whatever I had the pleasure to read was beautiful. The narration kept me engaged throughout.
The writing could use a little polishing, though. There were a few typos here and there which aren't troublesome. I don't know what the author intended with the blurb of the book, but I wished I had something more to introduce me to the book.
Overall, it's a short book and can be completed in no time. I would recommend this to readers who would love a soulful short story read.

Tapestry of Life is a collection of very short but interesting stories. Each story conveys deep emotions.
The book contains simple stories of life and love. Though the stories were short they were continued later on in the book. There are about two or three such storylines going on simultaneously. Even though the stories have been continued later each one of them still feels complete in its own sense.
The same name “Prince” has been used in many stories, which confused me because the stories were completely different from each other.
I found two consistent storylines, one of Romeo and Juliet, and the other of a girl named Ruhya. These stories have been continued at regular intervals throughout the book which was quite exciting when I realized the connection. But even if you don’t find the link, you will still find the book just as good.
There are many more stories in the book too. My favourite one was the Letter from a Father to his Daughter. There are two letters. I loved them both.
The author’s narrative style is very interesting and sometimes poetic too. The poems are wonderfully composed.
This book is recommended for everyone. It is a quick and light read. Though it may trigger some deep emotions, it is an equally enjoyable experience.

My December is full of prose and poetry! And truly It was a very satisfying decision in 2020! "Tapestry of Life Cadences" by author Prabhupad Mishra is a book with rare thoughts and plot. The word "Tapestry" is completely unknown to me! So before starting the book I had to go through the dictionary! And trust me, the essence of this unique title can be consumed by reading this book only and I have the zest of it now.
The author says "Imagination is what separates humans from animals. It is imagination that has made humans do the greatest things we see in this world around us. Even God Almighty had to be imaginative to create this beautiful planet that we see." After reading this in book description I knew the book is going to be something very worthy. And its really admirable that author's imagination and writing style has touched my expectation.
Writing style is standard and Hindi poems are very versatile. Each of them has a very deep meaning, that can be understood by patience. Sometimes I had to re-read as well. There were few grammatical errors and few dragged points else , everything is just amazing.

▶Review- This book is an enchanting collection of prose, poetry and short stories in both English and Hindi. It has very beautifully covered various themes of - friendship, love, depression, familial bond and suicides. I really loved this book, it captured all the emotions really well. It's like reading someone's soul, all these raw emotions, various rhetoric questions. Every chapter will force you to think and find the answers yourself, why do people die for love? Why does a father loves his kids? Why does lovers even in distance love with whole heart? There were many different topics touched by author. At some point it felt like I'm reading someone's personal diary, it's as really as that! At the end, I'm numb.
There is this one story about The Dolphin and the Sooty Tern, that touched my heart.

Prabhupad Mishra has tried to express emotions in the form of poetry. This book has 45 chapters in all. The book is a must-read for those who enjoy savoring the flavors of life. Structure of the story is dynamic as short stories have a dialogue conversation. Language is simple and easy to understand. If you have not read this yet you must read it.

Sometimes we do think to follow our heart but looking at the prevailing situations in which we exist many times we simply let the idea slip. But the author of this book didn't let this happen. He was born in Burla which is the educational hub of western Odisha. He is currently based out of Bhubaneswar, Odisha, and working as an Assistant Vice President with a leading bank.
As clear from the name this book holds different layers & aspects of the life of the author starting from his mother then his own marriage, daughter and so many other emotions that a relationship goes through have been penned beautifully.
This book is a combination of 45 unique prose and poetry, each revealing so many phases of his life. I personally enjoyed the following mentioned pieces from this book-
1. The boy on the bridge
2. Priceless
3. Stranger to myself
4. Dirty Eyes
5. & few from Hindi Section.
I am not saying I didn't like the others but these just made a distinct impact... as I can still feel those pages in my mind. Overall I congratulate Prabhupad for listening to his heart and coming out with this great collection. Buy today!

Name of the Book- Tapestry of Life Cadences
Author- Prabhupad Mishra
To start with, I would say that I thoroughly enjoyed the content while reading this book. The author has perfectly blended and delivered a unique collection of prose and poetry. I completely Loved the delivery style used by the author. And it can be said that it's one of unique writing style. I haven't read an anthology like this before.
The first thing that has the potential of grabbing one's attention is the book's cover and the books unique title. First of all, the content of the book is at par with its title. As the word Tapestry somewhat indicates that the book is based on various fields or thoughts.
This book focuses on different and little emotions that we feel everyday and it's been put down into words beautifully. For instance, the book has diverse tropics like the love between a father and a daughter, a voice of a broken heart, stories of unrequited love and many more. The later part of the book contains beautifully structured poems in Hindi.
Overall, the book is a interesting and a unique read. The writer's style of delivery is also very engaging and the content is captivating enough !

Review- This book is a collection of feelings. The author has done a commendable job in expressing the feelings of the characters. It is a combination of different emotions through a collection of poems, stories and write ups. The best part about this book is that its is not in a rigid format and has a combination of formats through which the characters are portrayed and the words are penned down beautifully to hit the target. There’s something new for the reader with each flip of page as the revelation of emotions and agenda of the story unveils as and when we read each line. There is a feeling of broken hearts and a damaged soul as the characters are damaged in some or the other way and express the raw feelings and pour then out in the best possible way. One can easily connect with what goes through with the characters as the narration is done beautifully defining what goes inside the minds and hearts of the characters in the purest form. The language used is easy to understand and the narration has a smooth flow.
