In a rush
The story felt like it was rushed. Some of the details were not flushed out completely. And other points too far out of my comfort zone. The storyline did not call me, maybe you can see what you think.

Kamryn and Tevin find each other at a time when she needs someone in her corner. Unfortunately, a lifetime of "hard knocks", bad decisions, and betrayal leaves her with a wall up. A wall that Tevin is determined to break through that is if he can keep the streets at bay.
There was a lot going on in this story. The author told us a lot about each character and their thoughts and what we should expect from them. While none of the characters were particularly likable or strong, as a collective they were fairly interesting. The story moved quickly and has the potential to be explosive especially with some of the more outlandish scenes that occurred. All in all, this was an okay read.

Lit!
Thea came with some fire with this. Broken spirits,broken attitudes, broken people. Hitting you over the head with drama from beginning to end. I can't wait for part 2. Is Courtney really that dumb over Jason? Chaos dropping the L word too soon? Poor Kamryn, will she survive? And can Jasmine be saved from her father Princes hateful ways? And lawd, please don't let Prince touch that poor family. What I really want to know is can we trust Screwz? Please give us part 2!

This book was so good I love home kam change to a better person however her cousin is so dumb it doesn’t make any sense how she would go that far over a man without facts. The relationship Chaos from the beginning was everything he is a man like no other. Can’t wait to read part 2

Whew, child, that cliffhanger! I can't believe Courtney! Mo is nuts, and Prince is a poor excuse for a human being! Jasmine is getting her karma, but I felt bad for her. Once Tevin finds Kam, he's going to paint the city red. I can't wait until Tevin parents realize who Tevin has his dealings with. Everything will make sense then. I can't wait for the next installment!

I felt like this was a page turner definitely but there was sooo much going on. Prince was beyond Trifling. I’m sad that Courtney and Kam weren’t able to make up. Jonathan did right by Sydney cause her mama was just a sad excuse.

Wow that ending left me wanting to read more I never saw that coming. Good read with lots of twists and turns and some that haven’t even been realized yet. I can’t wait to read book 2 cause Tevin is going on the war path for sure now. I can’t believe that Prince would do that to his own daughter but karma is something else. Good job Author Thea.
