Dr. Lea Val has no time for cocky cops who continuously put themselves in harm's way. She's been trying to open her own practice and still find time to help her friends out at the swanky adult summer camp. Everything was going great until tall, tan, and sexy decided to turn her life upside down.
Brett Jewel is a man of his word. After getting injured in the line of duty, he promised his friends he'd slow down and take over a new position as head of security at River Camps. After all, he's not going to let a silly gunshot slow him down. No, the only thing making him pause is the sexy doctor who is constantly yelling at him to get off his feet.

After Colorado, she decided to move south, living in Texas and now making her home along the Emerald Coast of Florida. She enjoys heading to the beach, hiking, swimming, wine-tasting, and pickleball with her husband, and of course writing. If you have read any of her books, you may also notice that there is a love of food, especially sweets! She has been blamed for a few added pounds by her assistant, editor, and fans… donuts or pie anyone?
Romance with a touch of reality to make the story that much more real and believable. The campground fun continues with Brett and Lea's story being unfolded and you won't want to miss a minute of it! Excellent characters, well plotted and enough realism to make you laugh, cry, furious and sad while ending in happiness! Definitely should go on your must read list!
Wildflowers series gets better and better. Jill Sanders is one of my go-to authors. I can always count on a read that's great. Lea and Brett's story is no different. Jills Stories are romantic, hot, sexy with a little suspense thrown in. Brett and Lea have known each other for most of their lives. Now they're all grown up. Brett's always wanted to be a policeman and now he is. Lea has always wanted to be a Doctor. Lea is working at the hospital and at River Camp. She's been saving to open her own practice. And Brett was in the right place at the wrong time when he gets shot in the leg by a would be carjacker. In true Sanders form, Jill keeps you so involved in the story you won't want to put it down. This story also deals with racism. Just be aware.
This series just keeps getting better and better❤❤❤❤❤. Loved Brett & Lea and how they see each other for the awesome people they are...but there are those that do not feel the same way. Can they, and their love, survive those that have issues with them? Heart breaking, yet heart warming, love story.
As expected, Brett and Lea were awesome characters. The Wildflowers series has been amazing and this is no exception. Another set of great characters with a story line that will capture you. Loved it!
Once again I feel Jill Sanders has knocked it out of the ballpark. The love and affection she gives the main characters as well as the supporting characters is what we all want in the real world
I have been waiting for Brett's story. He and Lea have have known each other forever but he thinks that she always had a crush on his best friend. He was wrong. After working together at the camp, they are just growing a little closer when Brett is shot while stopping a car-jacking. He refuses to let anyone help him until Lea shows up. Even though she is a doctor, she is too close to the patient and can only assist. As he is rehabilitating at the camp, they take their relationship to a new level. When racism rears it's ugly head, Brett will do anything to protect Lea. Lea thinks that he is put in harm's way because of her and she is prepared to let him go to save him. Will they be able to weather the storm together?
Dr. Lea Val is a gorgeous, sexy doctor and loyal friend to everyone. She is working hard to open up her own practice and also helping her friends at their adult camp, River Camp. Hot, hunky Brett Jewel is a cop that gets shot while off duty helping a family in crisis at a gas station. While recovering, his friends insist that he stay in one of the cabins at their adult camp so they can help him. Dr. Lea is also assisting with his medical needs. They have been friends since childhood, but their chemistry has begun to jump off the charts. Follow their love story as it comes alive! This is a great series! Don’t miss out!
Another wonderful book in Wildflowers series. Leah always want to be a doctor, now she is happy with her life and her friends. There is one person, who makes her melt, Brett. Brett has been attracted to Lea, from the moment, he did see her first time in school. After getting shot, he spends more time with Lea and they can think about future. But there are people who wants to harm Lea. Loved this story very much.
Jill Sanders never fails to deliver. Just when you thought the Wildflowers series was over, she delivers a book with the original beloved characters as well as new ones, while touching on some controversial social issues that add to the drama. This is my new favorite book of hers, and that is saying a lot!
Summer Wish is another great addition to the Wildflowers Series and I love returning to River Camps resort. Brett and Lea's story has humor, steam, romance, action, suspense, and a whole cast of wonderful characters.......everything needed for a wonderful read! It touches on some serious issues which adds so much to the story and makes you think. Enjoyed from beginning to end and hoping for more books in the series!
Another great story in the series! Brett & Lea, are perfect together. I loved everything about it. The romance, intrigue, emotions with great characters that captivated me from page one. Keeps you guessing till the end. A Must Read!!
I really enjoyed this story!! I was anxiously waiting for Brett's story. I hope this isn't the last we see of the wildflowers!! I enjoyed the whole series.
Emotionally thrilling, sexy, fun and engaging adventure filled with exciting and relatable charters, witty banter, sizzling twists and heart racing turns...... Highly entertaining read from beginning to end and so hard to put down this journey once I began.
Dr Lea works at the River Camps resort and is a honorary member of the Wildflowers group of friends. She was friends at school with Aiden who is Aubrey's partner and Brett who is one of the local cops.
Until recently she hadn't really noticed Brett, but she was quickly getting drawn towards him. He always seemed to be at the resort when she was there. When Brett has an incident at work where he is shot in the leg, Lea is more than willing to help him with his road to recovery. His road however is not straightforward as you would expect.
Great strong characters and great story tackling the difficult subject of racism.
Summer Wish by Jill Sanders is a fantastic addition to her Wildflowers series. The whole cast of characters is wonderful. The story is interesting, unique, and well written. The story definitely hits on some hot topics in current events, which makes the story more believable and relatable.
I really enjoyed this so much. There's so much going and it covers some serious issues like racism and domestic violence but there's also plenty of humour, romance and of course some sizzling action.
A ogre at book in this ongoing series. Full of drama and suspense. I can’t say the subject was comfortable to read about but I know it’s real life. Great narration too
