This is a good book to have in a middle school classroom library because it's an easy read and it doesn't look like a baby book. The story itself is so-so but the cover and premise are interesting enough that kids will probably give it a chance.

I learned to always count on freinds when you need them.The conflict is that Dan broke Nick's skateboard.
