I've always lived in darkness. Now that darkness has taken root inside me. It's where I'm the most comfortable, but also the most afraid. Especially now.
I've found a beautiful light. I want to grasp it and never let go. I worry that inevitably, my soul's deep depravity will eventually smother the beautiful light with its darkness. And that's something I don't think even I could live with. So, for now, I'll keep control of my darkness and just stare into the beautiful light from a distance.
Cole Denton is an ocean lover who finds joy in almost all physical activities. He is especially passionate about baseball and surfing, indulging in them every chance he gets.
His other passion is writing. It began at a young age and followed him through to his time at a university in SoCal where he majored in screenwriting.
After moving to Sin City, Cole has put his knowledge and talent as a writer to work by pursuing a career as a dark fiction author. Cole is enjoying testing his kinky side, in pursuit of all things pleasurable.
I have loved this series so much. Cole has an amazing writing style that captures you from beginning to end ,like you are physically a part of the story. This book is the background story on Salem and her life before and after life at Sebastian's kink house. FBI officer Garrett had been scoping out the place for years trying to get proof to shut the place down.... Grab yourself a copy and find out what happens..
Weirdly enough I enjoyed the first part between Salem and Elijah fully knowing who Elijah is. Elijah is a piece of work but I'd totally fall for him. As I read his and Salem's story I can see nothing but genuine kindness and concern as he counsels Salem but it's all a lie because of what we know from Brandon's story. I found myself liking Elijah and even I'd miss the red flags and fall for his charm.
Voyeur goes back two years and is the retelling of Brandon's story but from Salem's experience. And while I enjoyed some of the story l needed resolution for a few plot lines. What happened to Salem's mother and her boyfriend? He should've been brought up on charges but no more is mentioned of either of them. Why did it take Garret two years undercover in the sex club witnessing the dreadful abuse to rescue the sex slaves? And why would Salem so quickly be with another man after what she's been through? She could've easily found herself right back in the same situation she'd escaped? And what happened to Elijah? Is he dead? And what about Sebastian? Has he been found and charged? Hopefully these questions will be answered in the next two books? Again this story wraps up quickly although I'm learning this is Cole's writing style. I don't feel we've had any sort of happily ever after with Salem and Garret, no declarations of love, more just a companionship between two tortured and lonely souls. The epilogue is not about Salem and Garret but an introduction in the continuation of Andrew's story from a previous book.
While I really wanted this to be a four star read it needs some loose ends tightened up to get that extra star.
I absolutely love the club oxygen series, this book did not disappoint… Cole Denton, is my favorite author ever. I urge folks who haven’t read this series to start them ❤️❤️❤️
Cole Denton is a master at creating dark, twisted worlds that pull you deep inside of them. You live and breath there while you read and even after you have finished you can never completely leave them behind. Voyeur is the seventh book in the Club Oxygen series and is definitely the darkest one yet. Special Agent Garrett Losche is a man tortured by his past who finds himself in the company of some very sick individuals. These people inflict unbearable pain and unimaginable suffering on the young and vulnerable. Often very harrowing to read in places. However, the characters we meet in Voyeur become so important that you desperately have to know what happens to them. Equally there are the beloved characters from the previous books in the series and we get to continue with their journeys in the story. They need justice and Garrett is the only person in the world that can give it to them. Cole Denton gives a voice to those in the dark and he does so with an authenticity that touches deeply and has me returning to read book after book of his. You believe in his characters. You hurt for them. You break your heart over them. Most of all you hope for them...you hope that they can be pulled out of the hell they are in. The monsters in this world are evil people who do unspeakable things. The monsters in Voyeur should be afraid because Garrett is on a mission and he has nothing left to lose. If you haven’t read this series yet, it is highly recommended that you do. You will never forget it.
I wasn't really sure what a Voyeur was until I started reading Garrett's story. I was fascinated by it and could see why he did it in more ways than one. You can see so much when you watch others and study their mannerisms and being put in this undercover operation, challenged him to over come his PTSD and bring down an operation that broke the weaker and younger of mind to become something else. Finding Salem was his break in the case, she was young and vulnerable and all he could think about was saving her and protecting, while fighting a feeling he shouldn't be having. Realizing the one person in the case they had been looking for was under his nose the entire time, taunting without knowing he was being watched. Eli was a master of disguise, the devil and charmer. I wanted to hit him so hard, in the back of my mind I kept putting it together, but was hoping I wasn't correct. Garrett and Salem's story was unique, loving and sexy for this definite age gap, sometimes circumstances bring people together and when it feels right, just be in the moment. Great story
Here we go again. Book 7 is another amazing read. You meet Salem and Garrett previously but now you get their full story and it's a good one. Salem, after having something terrible happen to her turns to good ole Eli for help and comfort and he makes her pay for trusting him. Poor Garrett is stuck undercover all these years witnessing terrible things and unable to do anything. Until Salem. Garrett and Salem get their HEA which is well deserved. I was thrilled that Brandon didn't let Elijah win and let him know it. And I was ecstatic that Elijah got what he deserved. I wish Cole went it to detail about him suffering but my imagination gives me the freedom to really picture Elijah in agony before he takes his last breath. The end of the book gives me hope for Andrew and Tabitha (fka nameless top lady). Elise deserves to be alone with her blowup pillow subs or whatever they were.
I have to admit I was apprehensive going into this one. Each chapter I was holding my breath waiting for something bad to happen... I felt so bad reading Brandon's torture again from another angle. I felt worse for Garrett having to endure and not finding what he needed to bust Sebastian and his kink house. Reading Salem's story, I wanted to put bamboo shoots under Eli's nails, knowing what was to come. It's unfortunate that we are not going to see Sebastian and Eli get theirs. Was so proud of Salem and Brandon for finding their backbones and going after Eli themselves. So glad that things ended as they did. Liked the little twist in there of the masked man and the changed accents. Bravo, Cole on another book that ripped up our guts, but gave us heart as well.
Riveting! Cole Denton does it again. Brilliant writing. Engrossing, suspenseful, and dark, just the way I like Cole's stories. I was absorbed in this heart-wrenching story from the first page. I like the backstory Cole gives us to help us understand his two main characters. Garrett, the protective, caring, and complex hero. Salem, the young, knows what she wants heroine who comes to rely on Garrett. Together they are perfect. Hot sizzling sex and an honest relationship from the start. I appreciated Cole bringing back some of the characters from previous stories in the Club Oxygen Series to help make the Elijah storyline end perfectly. And, I adore all the Easter Eggs Cole adds to his stories. They make me smile.
Once again, Cole has thrown my emotions in a turmoil. This book is heartbreaking, sweet and rage inducing all at the same time, but I wouldn't have it any other way. This is Garrett's and Salem's story and the timeline overlaps some with Slave and Sadist. The way Cole portrays all his characters make you so invested in their lives, you can't help but feel all types of emotions while reading, especially hope. No matter how dark, no matter what hell he puts them through, he always gives you that glimmer of hope that everything will be okay in the end. I absolutely loved it and cannot wait for the last book.
Voyeur is book 7 in The Club Oxygen Series written by Cole Denton. In this book we get to know about FBI agent Garrett and Salem. I will admit I nearly had to put the book down because of what Salem was going through and what Agent Garrett had to endure with regards to the Octopus Operation. The way Cole wrote this book had me close to tears, saying oh my god out loud, wanting to reach into the book and hold the characters but also had me smiling and laughing at the banter between Salem and Agent Garrett. It's definitely another must read from Cole Denton and I will say someone does get their comeuppance. Thank you Cole for making me nearly throw my tablet again lol.❤🙂
Cole has done it again with his latest installment of the Club Oxygen series... in this one we get the back story of Garrett and Salem... and what a story it is!! It is dark romance at it's finest! All of the characters in this story are inter linked with each other and this was the perfect way to see Garrett for the man he truly is, and one character will receive their Karma... I will not divulge too much, I don't want to give away any spoilers but if you haven't read any of this series yet, start it... You will be completely blown away!!
VOYEUR (The Club Oxygen Series Book 7) By Cole Denton Cole Denton has the ability to completely obliterate your heart. The world he creates is dark, completely and totally engaging. Voyeur is Garrett and Salem’s story and is heartbreaking, intense, agonizing, angst filled, and riveting. There are lighter moments with witty banter as well. I have wanted to see the down fall of Elijah and his sick cronies. I could not put this book down, I have been so caught up in this story. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars as it is certainly worthy of more!
This book sheds more light on the link house where Brandon and Salem were found. It also gives us insight in to Garrett and his life. I loved all of the emotions that you got from Garrett and how badly he wanted to help all the kids at the house. Also loved watching his relationship with Salem grow and hope we hear more about them!
The last chapter has me very intrigued for the next, and last, book in this series and what is to come! Cole delivered another exceptional story and is absolutely worth the read!
I’ve been so excited for the release of Voyeur and was not disappointed! Book 7 of the Club Oxygen series focuses on FBI agent Garrett as he goes under cover to bring down those running the kink house and Salem, a young girl recently sold to the kink house. Once again, Cole Denton found the perfect balance of emotional depth and sexy eroticism that have made me fall in love with this series and his writing. I can’t wait to see what Cole has in store for his readers next!
Voyeur was a fast pace read and is an example why I love Denton’s writing so much. We get to dive in the past and learn more about the main characters. Denton has been leaving breadcrumbs in this series from day one leaving the readers wanting more. Salem by far is my favorite character but even though she had so much thrown at her she still wasn’t afraid to grab life by the coconuts as Garrett let her figure stuff out in her own time, while supporting her. And all I can say about this whole series so far well played, Denton, well played.
Another win for Mr. Denton. The Club Oxygen series is amazing, and this book would have to be my favourite! I felt most connected to these characters and as always I was consumed with their story. The trouble with a long series is that the stories can come off as repetitive and I lose interest, this however,is not the case at all. This is book seven in the series and it’s quite impressive that Denton keeps the stories fresh and exciting. The ending had me pumped for what’s to come in book 8.
I started reading this series with Plaything. It was very dark and I hated the female MC so I stopped reading it. Went back a year or so later. I'd been following the author on FB. That book pulled me into the next books. Wow. Garrett and Salem's story pulls everything together. I don't like cliffhanger books but I couldn't stop reading. I had to know how Salem got involved with Eli. I had to know how Garrett saved her and Brandon. Once I finished one book I Had to read the next.
Voyeur: this story is about Salem and Garret and it is dark and twisted. Salem lives with het mother but as you can guess or read the previous books you might know bad things happen to her. Garret is working undercover and that is something good. In this story you’ll meet Eli again so prepare yourself. I loved it. This series is pulling at your heartstrings. If you like dark and twisted read it and start with Forged. I recommend.
The Club Oxygen Series has quickly become one of my favorite series to read. The way Mr. Denton keeps weaving each of these characters and couples in and out of each book is seamless. From tragic beginnings, we meet hope and healing mixed with care and love. Although Voyeur leaned on the darker and more heartbreaking side, it was filled with just as many sweet moments that had me feeling all gooey inside. Another job well done Mr. Denton! Now, when do I get the next book?
Garrett Losche, an FBI agent working undercover trying to get one of the young people at a house where they are abused to say they aren’t there on their own. Garrett has issues of his own from being in the military. Salem a young girl who ends up leaving home, and ends up in the home of “darkness”. Will Garrett get the information he needs to have the place raided? I love the characters and how they all intertwined throughout all the books of the series. Amazing read by Cole Denton!
Love the FBI mystery and the hero elements. You get a lot of dark elements in one cohesive story with excellent scenes and well developed characters. Garrett and Salem are central to the story but we still see other Club Oxygen family and glimpses of them pull it together.
Right from the start, I felt I had already read this storyline. When in fact, it was just another victim. I felt every hit, punch and bite. I cringed during the whole read. It's a different feeling when it's consensual. It's still playing with my mind. Still a great read.. You won't be sorry!!
Well Cole Denton did it again!! Cole pulled me in and didnt let me go till that last page. This was Garrett and Salem's story and I was very happy that it had your HEA. I didnt find it as intense as Brandon's story but it still wound me up. Looking forward to book 8 in this series. Another great one Cole😎😎😎
…..Wow this story did not disappoint..I loved knowing more about both Garrett and Salem and the investigation…and how well Salem and Garrett fit, I love the light to dark…and the intensity of the ongoing story throughout all of the books. Cole you did it again….I can’t wait for the rest of Andrews story……
This series keep getting better and better. Garrett the FBI agent has been trying to crack this case and shut down this house but he was having trouble getting the kids to talk until Salem did. After she did talk they finally shut the house down and got Sebastian. Now the kids just have to heal. Now who is going to buy Club Oxygen? Enjoy
Another exciting and suspenseful book that didn't get put down until the end. Cole knows how to suck you in and you don't take a breath until it's over. I love these characters and their stories. Thanks Cole!
Oh I won't be ruining the outcome. I'll say that this was so needed and will have a person growing in despair needing the next book. Although this book made me extremely happy.
Cole knows how to bring a story together. He brought every detail to life . This book will bring you to edge and beyond. Cole keeps showing his talent through every character he brings to life . I can't for what he brings next .
This was another amazing book in the Club Oxygen series. Try to hang on as you absorb Salem and Garrett’s tale. This well written story takes you on an emotional roller coaster. It celebrates the resilience of the human spirit. I highly recommend this book.
Was super excited to read about Salem and Garrett! After everything she went through in a short amount of time,to see her love and persevere was incredible. And that ending made me exceptionally happy! Can't wait to read Switch!
