This is an awesome read, Being new to the sport I was a little confused about some aspects of the game. The author makes great sense and is simple to understand. If you take your game seriously you owe it to yourself to check it out
This book offers great insights for the beginning and experienced player alike. I found Tupp's remarks on mindfulness during rounds and mental strategies for playing your best golf to be insightful and pragmatic. The short chapters helped me to think intently on the topic of focus and devise an approach to integrating those into my next round or practice session. Smart, thoughtful, and relatable to all who enjoy throwing those flying circles through the air!
A well done book with a clear focus on the three paths. A lot of focus (appropriately so!) on the mental game. One shot at a time could be the mantra of the book. I feel that I am already a better player at disc golf after reading this book. The best line is to follow the slope of the hill. So, don't be a dope. This has helped shave several points off of my score. The mental game is tough to follow and easy to forget to focus.
A decent overview of the basics of disc golf techniques and strategies. The author is a decent writer although as with many self published books there are a lot of typos. Nothing too ground breaking here and the book is probably best for beginner players looking to expand their knowledge and game. I got more out of Golf is not a Game of Perfect by Bob Rotella.
