A surprising book. A remarkable book. This edited collection provides an evocative and provocative guide into and through academic writing. I particularly want to log the remarkable chapter by Georgina Tuari Stewart, exploring the methodologies of writing. Wow.

The relationship between writing and thinking is evocatively presented. This is an inspirational book that encourages academics - particularly higher degree students and early career researchers - to think deeply about writing, beyond specialist vocabulary and genres. The liminality of our writing lives is underdiscussed. This book is so welcome.

And all the chapters are beautifully written.
