A more exciting than fiction account of Daniel Boone and his family from the time they leave North Carolina until they reach their new home in Kentucky.
I read this book in portuguese, which means I can't go over how amazing the writing was, for instance, as it won't be accurate for anyone who reads it in their own mother tongue (although I think it's probably as good, if not better; translations are overrated, but needed). Let us carry on; I really enjoyed this book. Far too interesting for what's regarded as a children's book. Addictive from start to finish, and a great bedside table book: easy to assimilate and short. There's always something going on, so the plot never gets tiring, and in this version I hold (not sure about the other versions), there are illustrations throughout the book, helping the reader to delve further into the story.
