Good for overall chem concepts, but I think that there is a discrepancy on what is tested on the exam vs the practice questions and focus on the book. The practice problems at the beginning of the chapter were ok — i think they were good for reinforcing concepts but the answer is very obviously written in the chapter, so I don’t think it properly tests if you know the concept. I think concepts like solution chemistry could be explained better and representive practice problems can be added.

The biology and biochem Kaplan books were much better, but that may be because those subjects are more memorization based rather than conceptual.

very angsty as it wanted to make me cry sometimes. wanted to dnf at times but people said the end was worth it!!
