Angela has been disowned by her family because of something that happened when she was seeing a guy her parents told her not to date. Julia the only friend who stuck by her had to go to the hospital because something was wrong with her mom. Julia finds out that her mom needs surgery to remove a brain tumor and they don't have any insurance so it's going to cost them $70,000. Angela knows a way to get the money but it's not really a good idea because it's illegal. She ends up going the illegal route, but things don't go right and she gets threatened to be turned in. Maddix is a doctor that she ran into at a coffee shop and he says he'll help her if she wants him to, but his help will not be free and he's not telling her what he wants in return. Grab this wonderful book today to find out if she accepts Maddix's help and if so what does he wants in return? This is an excellent read.

Awesome book! First let me start with how much I liked the raw, true self that Maddix brought out in Angela. He wasn't going to be happy till everything she held on the inside was as visible as her exterior.
Angela had not been having an easy go at life and was also desperate to help her friend out, but things didn't go as planned for her and she soon finds Maddix willing to help. His help doesn't come without a price though.
I found the storyline to be intimate and have quite a bit of depth to it, despite being a quick read. Shorter books usually feel like they have empty gaps that need filling, but this is not one of those stories. This fast paced read is sexy and definitely worthy of five stars. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

i read this book as part of an arc program. In this book, Angela worked at the bar with Stacy. Angela used to be an art student, but had to drop out after a scandal caused her father, the mayor to disown her. Now Angela was trying to make it on her own and trying to make up for her mistakes. When her friend needed money for an operation to save her mother's life, Angela decided to take an opportunity to make money to help her. Angela had met a doctor at a coffee shop and he wanted to get to know the real Angela. After Angela found herself in trouble, she turned to the doctor for help. I liked this one, i liked Maddix and thought he really cared for Angela. I think Angela needed to be forced to confront her problems and Maddix was the right man to help her do it.

This is book three in the series, but it functions just fine as a standalone. There are some references to previous characters, but they are essentially throw away lines.
This is an erotic story with elements of D/S and punishment. The story itself is well written and easy to follow. I liked the two female characters in the story, thought they were well developed and solid. The hero not so much, but he played his role. The action was steamy and entertaining. Overall, the story kept my attention and was fun to read.

A provocative and dark look at a relationship between a man and woman. This was my first experience of reading this author's work. This was a definite erotic charged story that had lots o controversy surrounding the characters, particularly the young woman who doesn't make good choices and ends up being victimized not once but twice because of her poor judgement. While this book may not be romantic in any form, the readers wanting to see erotica should be pleased.

HELP!!!I've fallen for Maddix and I don't want to get up!! This Melbrooke romance was so intensely dark that I still have chills after reading it. Maddix used an intense and dark method to get his way but it was so genuis he could outrank an renowned Psychologist. Angela was the most epic character thus far in the Melbrooek trilogy. The novel is HOT and it was an amazing read. 5...BIG..STARS!!!!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an ARC of this book. This was a short story. Quick and dirty! Maddix helps Angela move on with her life, at the same time helping her relieve some money problems. It gives her the ability to help a friend. I sure do hope Maddix and Angela find a way to stay together. Will we see them again Dahlia? Hope so!

Very dirty doctor that also happened to know just exactly what Angie needed. I like how there are mentions of previous characters from the other Yes, Sir books. It's a short story with just enough information to suck you in and keep you there. I only wish there was an epilogue or final conclusion to them.

An emotionally deep, well written, and exciting read! The storyline is engaging and the drama, blackmail, twists, and steamy scenes will keep you on the edge of your seat! The characters are likeable, the chemistry between them is intense. Definitely recommended!

There are some things about this story that are disturbing, making this a novella that is not for all. Angela manages to find her in some precarious positions, mostly the result of poor choices. Maddix is no hero but sort of rides to her rescue.
