It is a good book to read... I felt it was unnecessarily dramatic but it gives a good sign and opening into the whole idea of Islam beliefs, sharia law and marriages.

It took me a while to finish it truly because I was just irritated at the characters and it is very sad that we did not get to view the story from another angle.... Very funny that a man caused her pain and women aggravated it...

In all, a good book and I was so mad and upset and sad and teary at various points... she was forced to grow up too early. I just wish characters had more depth.

this book is okay, very eye opening and it is a very different from most of my reads and since it ends in a cliffhanger, I'm much excited to start with the next book of the trilogy.
