Detailed, quick reference instead of always asking Google

This book gives detailed explanations for the most commonly run labs. Great tables to list values, therapeutic/non-therapeutic levels, and the potential risks of what each means. It’s really nice to have a reference in your library rather than constantly asking Google or trying to understand the doc. For nerdy health care workers like myself... it’s a fun and informative read.

A big help

I am not a medical professional, but I choose this book to try to interpret my husband's blood test results. He has been having extensive testing, but the printouts don't really give us much information. With this book, I was able to better understand the results. It is a large book with a wealth of information.

Good reference for lab values

For those healthcare professionals who need to brush up on the laboratory values. You will need to memorize this lab values to help you with your care and have a know how on condition of patient. With so many lab values and knowing their normal range can be too much to memorize. This book can serve as a quick reference to healthcare professionals.

I recently had some blood work done and thanks to this book was able to understand it a little more than before. Never thought this could be interesting for me but I was pleasantly surprised.

Information on any blood disorder.

I found so much information in this book. If you want to check any lab work this would be the go to book.
I found that I got little overwhelmed with all the terminology and information.

Interesting

A complicated subject made a bit more understandable. I’m not a nurse or doctor nor am I in medical school, but it seems like this book would be very helpful for anyone looking in that direction
