This was a super sweet novella dealt with Des and his women Dee Dee taking a beat to spend some quality time together even if it only was just for a romantic weekend.
For a novella, this story was packed with a lot of heat, passion, and love. Des still knows how to melt the panties off his lady! lol, their chemistry still scorching hot!
A super sweet tale all about the holidays and what they are truly all about. The story was heartfelt and packed yet again packed with a ton of emotion. Life goes on and for some characters, they are thriving and others they are struggling and some readjusting to the changes that have been coming their way but, one of them is holding on to a secret that is about to be exposed and when it does it isn't going to be pretty it's going to bring more heartbreak and rock yet again the lives of The Wheel of Hogs more commonly known as the Horde...
The story was touching, and we are finally getting some answers to questions regarding what has been happening with Daisy who has been changing quite drastically through this entire series. My heart goes out to you girl...

This short read gives the reader a catch-up with Des and Dee Dee from Ms. Earl's Wheels and Hogs series. The couple needs a break, their daughter, Daisy, is having a rough go and making family life chaotic. Des decides his woman needs a romantic getaway, much to the hilarity of his friends who rib him about taking her away. What follows is a sexy, sweet story of the couple reconnecting and enjoying being a couple without the grind of everyday life.
I enjoyed catching up with Des and Dee Dee. Ms. Earl's Wheels and Hogs series is one of my favorites and I'm hoping this is a lead-in to Daisy's long awaited story. The novella shows the softer side of Des and how much he loves his woman. I think readers would love for their men to plan a weekend away full of romance, sexy times, and pampering.

This was a fun quick read that brought us back some old friends from the Wheels and Hogs series. Des and DeeDee need some to away to reconnect and forget the challenges of day to day life. Des pulls out all the stops and shows us his softer side, his love for his wife and his devotion to being there for his family.
Hoping for more from the Wheels and Hogs gang.

A Short Romance
This is a snippet in the life of Des and DeeDee/Sugar. Their teenage daughter has been the life of them and Des takes it upon himself to give his wife a little break in the form of a romantic getaway.
I loved how the brothers all gave me crap for doing this and I also loved how this man wasn't afraid to show his wife how much she meant to him.
I'm looking forward to look into the life of their daughter Daisy just to see what is going on with her.

In a week filled with so many heroes that I just didn't like, My Sugar was just what the doctor ordered for this girl. Des sees that Dee Dee needs a break from their daughter Daisy, who has been pushing the envelope so much that a weekend away just for them is needed. Though he gets teased by his brothers, he doesn't pay it any mind, and takes her for a sexy weekend to pamper her which had stars in my eyes for this amazing man who didn't care about showing his wife super sweetness. Ms. Earl has put herself on my list of authors that I want to keep reading after the first book I read, and the only complaint I really ever have is the stories are too short since I crave so much more. Anyway, I LOVED this story and HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

This is the 5th book in this amazing series and is Des and DeeDee / Sugar’s story. Des has decided that his wife needs a well-deserved romantic break away from their daughter Daisy, who has been challenging and pushing the limits of their patience. It is humorous how much flack Des receives from all the brothers, and he is not afraid to show how much he loves his wife and family. Looking forward to reading more about Daisy. This is a well written quick little novella, and I look forward to reading more in this series which I recommend for all.

Wow, this is a short novella but we had a very nice story about Des and Dee Dee. I couldn't put the book down.
I loved this short story about Des and Dee Dee together, he surprises her with a trip because of all the stress they going through.
They are amazing couple, they have true love for each other. And are part of a family together.
I can't wait for more.

This is an awesome short read letting us see just how Des gives Sugar a break from their lives to rest and recharge, the brothers give him crap but the see just what their brother will do to keep his woman happy.

This is a short, romantic, story of a couple we have come to love--those reading the series. If it is your first book it is still a sweet, steamy story you can't help but love.

A quick steamy glimpse into a weekend to reconnect for Dee Dee and Desmond. With things happening all around them, they needed to refresh their relationship. It was something that all couples need from time to time. They spent most of the time showing their love, and it helped to strengthen their connection. I look forward to the next in this series.

“The moment I read the blurb I knew I needed this story in my life and I wasn’t wrong. My Sugar was absolutely amazing!!! Des and DeeDee’s short story was delicious to read and all the way romantic which was awesome. Who doesn’t need some time to relax? What a perfect opportunity a trip represents. Their love is everlasting and so especial that melted my heart. A very well written novella with all the sweetness and love. I highly recommend it.”
