Interesting biography and artistic criticism of the French painter Henri Toulouse-Lautrec ... the graphic lay-out is astounding, very well done ... several color plates ... the section at the back of the book is a real plus: a selection of Toulouse-Lautrec's letters, then letters of his friends, quotations from articles critical of his work, and finally two obituaries and a modern critical piece summing up his impact of the world art, amazing for one who died at 36 ...
