To find my sister he demands my heart. Jerica fills every room with her presence. Turning her beautiful smiles toward everyone except me. The man she holds responsible for her brother’s death. When her sister disappears, Jerica’s world turns upside down and leads her to my lair. The place where darkness dwells and no one receives my help without a substantial fee. I agree to return her sister or the men responsible. But my fee can’t be found in her bank account. No, her money won’t do. Because I want something worth more than her little nest egg. I want her heart.
This story is a short story. A full story in fewer words. But if you like longer novels please check out other books by Ja'Nese Dixon.
Ja’Nese Dixon pens tales of romance in various subgenres. But her favorites are the ones that manage to keep readers sitting on the edge of their seats lying to themselves about reading “just one more chapter”.

Jerica and Marco have grown up together when he was best friends with her brother as a teen. Since that time the death of Dante, Jerica's brother broke that close relationship apart. With the disappearance now of Erica, Jerica's twin. She has no choice but to contact Marco for help. They are back together but it is under duress and will they come out the other side whole or even more broken than before? A really nice read.

Jerica and Marco were n t what i would call enemies. They were family to a point. Friends no doubt. On time lovers. An absloutly. With all that. There was also a misunderstanding between them. One knowing the anger. The other the receipiant of it.
I enjoyed Jerica and Marco's story! It's a fairly quick read that is fast paced and highly addictive. These two were meant to be. This story is really good with action, suspense, mystery and good twists and turns. I love the characters and how their story develops. This has to be one of my favorites so far from this writer. I could not put it down until the very end.
🔥🔥ONE TITILLATING DELIGHT🔥🔥 Blazing booties! Ja'Nese delivers with this skillfully spun debacle, serving up one action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, page flipping bombshell, hooking you from the start and reeling you in for the duration, wrapping this baby up sleek, shiny and tight. Sparks ignite as daring drama, perilous intrigue, thrilling secrets, escalating danger and spiraling suspense ensue, you have one mind-blowing experience. The magnetism, attraction and chemistry collides with such intensity, exposing high octane emotions and undeniable affection, drawing our characters closer, binding them to one another perfectly. The characters, dialogue, interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add depth and diversity, transforming them into lovable personalities. The scenes are strikingly sharp with abundant details and vivid descriptions creating an elaborate backdrop that makes the storyline explode. Fantastic job Ja'Nese, thanks for sharing this bad boy with us.
Completely and utterly taken captive by this story! It was EVERYTHING!!! WAY TOO MUCH ALPHA! The chemistry here is AMAZING- this isn’t just heat. Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. SO MUCH ALPHA ...oh did I say that already well these two grew up together in a rough part of the neighborhood and both had a thing for each other. Jerica and Marco since forever and when something tragic happens to her family she cuts Marco out of her life to have anything else to do with him but years later she needs his help and he doesn’t want to ask but needs his help and she offers to pay whatever the price he is asking but Marco was and has always looked out for his family or those he called family and that included her so will he help her or will she put herself in danger trying to solve it on her own and can these two be happy with one another?

The story line, plot and idea is interesting with a few twists and turns and some revelations but the character development and personalities just don't do it justice. Jerica is a immature, self-absorbed and selfish person, she knew her brother Dante was into bad stuff, yet she blames Marco for his death and actually walks out of their relationship. She is so self absorbed she has no idea what her family is doing and that they see Marco regularly and he helps everyone. I found it hard to relate or like her, I actually think Marco deserved better.
I just did not connect with Jerica and I found the relationship between her and Marco lacking and boring at times. I felt that the chemistry, romance and relationship between them was not very believable and strong. This book is too short and missing details, almost like the author just gave a cliff note version. Sorry but this book just did not hold my attention.

I liked it. This was a story about a family made by life's circumstances which were kinda rough for some. Jerica and Marco grew up together in a rough area. They'd had a thing for each other since forever. There was a tragic event in the family and Jerica cut Marco out of her life thinking he had a hand in it. A few years later, with a bit of drama, she needs his help when another event occurs. Jerica was a bit frustrating with accusations hurled at Marco all the time and Marco had a bit of mystery surrounding him. I couldn't decide whether Marco was a true criminal or not reading it, but things were not what they appeared. Marco loved the people he called family and no one stood in the way of that. The ending was a bit of a nice surprise and questions were answered. Overall, I liked it a lot.

Unfortunately it felt like several chapters were missing. For instance if only 3 years passed how could she not know he was an engineer? How could he build an “empire “ like this in 3 years? When did he fall in love with her? Why did they only have 1 night together etc.. on top of that Jerica was just an unpleasant heroine, making it difficult to enjoy the book. First of, if she knew what her brother was into, how dare she blame Marco for his death? Then she accuses him of murder but wants his help. When she realized that he didn’t kill anyone she doesn’t have the decency to really apologize. To top it all, she ask for help and then instead of trusting the process, she jumps in without any details putting the whole operation at risk. Reckless and childish. Again no apologies for her behavior.
A good short novella by Ja'Nese Dixon. I love her stories but sometimes I want them to be longer and I want more front and back story. I still love this story and I would give it a four and half out of five-star rating. I loved Marco, dirty blond hair, brown eyes and big hands and in love with Jerica Hamilton who has a twin sister Erica and a brother who was killed. This story started when they were young but what happened when their brother Dante died caused her to dislike her childhood friend and brother. Marco was placed in their home because of his parents, and he was placed in there very often. They promised each other they would marry each other when they were young. It is a good short novella, but I wished it had been longer.
"You Owe Me" is a fast paced, short, action romance. When Jerica asks her childhood friend for a favor will she be willing to pay his price? In spite of all her doubts and Marco's mysterious connections - he is looking out for her. Will Jerica understand that before she puts herself in danger? I liked Jerica's character, from her career to her fearlessness. I liked Marco's protective nature and the way he handled business - expeditiously. This was an entertaining read with tragedy, drama and passion.

As always JaNese Dixon has give us another outstanding book. ‘You Owe Me’ is just the right amount of adventure and heat to make you wish for more. The chemistry between Marco and Jerica is definitely one of passion and a level of emotions that will have you wanting more. I’m soo looking forward to seeing Samuele and Domonique’s story.

You Owe Me sure packed a punch. It was a really short novella that dealt with the issues at hand - all tied up in a sexy bow. The only problem I had with it was Jerica thinking that Marco could have actually murdered her brother Dante and yet she turns to him for help when her twin sister goes missing. I did like Marco and Jerry as a couple and would gladly read a sequel with them. You just know there will never be a dull moment with those two.

I liked how the author crafted a story filled with mystery and suspense. It was woven together with an authentic love story that was revealed slowly but with great passion. I really loved his character - strong, considerate (to a point) and compassionate. He was also a strong alpha male who had amazing control but also a loving heart. I liked her character as well - feisty and determined but also honest and loving. Great characters.

Marco really surprised me, his lifestyle and his love for Jerica is very impressive. I think Jerica is a bit dramatic but realistically everyone handles grief differently. The twin bond was on point. This is short which didn't bother me because I don't always have hours or days to dedicate to reading. I still felt the intensity of the suspense and the rekindling of their chemistry were more than adequate for my reading pleasure. I needed a quick romance fix and since their "relationship" was already established, I knew this was hit the spot.
An enjoyable and exciting second chance romance! The story line is well written, emotionally deep, enthralling, LOL funny, and well-developed with drama, ups and downs, witty banter, sass, suspense, danger, and steam. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is intense and off the charts! Very enjoyable and definitely recommended!

It seemed to me you had to read previous books by this author to know the history of these characters. The writing was good, just couldn’t follow the story, one minute Jerika was mad and not speaking to Marco, the next she forgives him and is all cuddly with him. And what was with Erika the twin sister, was she working undercover? Was Marco a mob guy or just an engineer? What was with the tough guy routine? Couldn’t get into the story.

Unfortunately, this story was hard to follow. It doesn't flow well and leaves out details that are needed to understand character motivations. The story was so choppy, I checked several times to make sure I hadn't accidentally skipped pages. The premise of this book is interesting but the story seemed to be incomplete.

A very interesting tale of too souls separated due to mis-communication / mis-understanding. Assumptions were made that kept them apart for 3 years. Now a situation brings them back together. Long awaited conversations are required, but will everyone be willing to listen. You have to read to find out. 4 🌟's due to the length of the story. It was too short. Therefore, it seemed rushed. Needed just a little more..
This was a short intense read. Jerica and Marco grew up together but three years ago something happened that shook her faith in him. Now they are both worried because her twin sister is missing. Working together to find her leads to them communicating like adults and realizing that there is something between them. There was an unexpected twist in this for me at least and it made the book even better
First of all, the blurb reads as if FMC couldn’t find her sister and turns to the MMC for help. Turns out FMC didn’t even realise that her sister was missing and it was the MMC who alerted her because he was keeping tabs on her.
Also, the girls are twins. Names Erica and Jerica. Really?
Ja'Nese Dixon's You Owe Me was well written quick read and had a great plot line. It was suspenseful, had well developed characters and lots of steam. It had great word development for a short story. Looking forward to reading more by this author.

This is a quick read. Jerica and Marco grew up together in a family made by circumstances. Jerica's twin disappears and she needs to ask Marco for help, but can she meet his payment requirements. And things are not what you thought. There's some action, romance and you find out about the family. This is an honest voluntary review
Loved Marco and Jerica's story. This was really a good read, it was also a short read. I would absolutely recommend reading this book I don't think you will regret getting it. Great job Ms. Ja'Nese Dixon, please keep these great stories coming. I cannot wait to read Her Last Man. Thank you. 🙏👍
The book had a good storyline. Interesting cast of characters. One flaw too short. Not enough to really flesh out and develop the story. Nevertheless what was written deserved a 3 stars especially because I am thing of Samueles and Dominique having their own story as well as Erica and Vicente either as a couple their own separate stories.
Luv Luv Luv this Short & Sweet Romance! I hope this was just a peek into world of Mama, Erica, Jerica, Dante, & Marco! Looking forward to a long journey down memory lane! I would be interested in the continuation of Marco and his dress making, pink pistol packing new wife Jerica!
They were raised together by her mom. Marco was not related to her, but he was close to brother. Therefore, to him, the females were his responsibility to protect. When a tradegy happens, the bond that Jerica and Msrco trust vanished. Lot misjudgment on her part.
I am not quite sure what I think of this book. It felt a bit rushed for me. Parts of the story were unclear and seemed a bit vague. I felt things were a little glossed over, but it ended happily.

Quick enjoyable read. Fast paced and well written. Marco has this whole mysterious air to him which I found to be appealing and endearing, Jerica annoyed me no end with a flurry of accusations and little desire to listen.
