Cate Collins is a mentor, counselor and storyteller.

THE POWERHOUSE IN YOU is her first book.

"At the heart of why I wrote this book," Cate says, "I wanted to provide a framework or guide if you will to remind leaders the power of whom they really are and how to support, nudge and provide a call too action on how to invest in their own well-being on a consistent basis. The powerful and relatable stories will help you explore how you get in your own way from your limiting beliefs, remind you what works, what doesn’t and how to customizes your resiliency plan of action to show up to be the best version of yourself.

"As a recovered burned out leader, I wanted to unite all leaders who want to be more resilient, courageous and confident, so they make better decisions, own their power and experience more optimum health. It can get lonely at the top and overwhelm and the constant hustle has become normal resulting in more burned out leaders.

"My book was inspired by the thousands of leaders that I have had the honour to work with.

"Remember. You are a powerhouse."

Come from the not-for-profit world B.S. (before speaking...yeah, there's a pun in there), I experienced firsthand the demands and overwhelm of wanting to do the right thing with so little time, resources and talent. Cate's magic is helping NFP leaders, particularly women, reconnect with their inner powerhouse, so they have more clarity, confidence and self-compassion. Through her four-room model, she helps helpers stay resourceful enough to fundraise, support and caregiver for another day.
