My team was assigned this book to read. I thought there were some valuable insights and especially appreciated the examples and stories shared that were specific to the tech industry.
Just what I needed after seven years as a health insurance middle-market client manager, moving into a new national accounts executive role. I’d say I was doing about a third of their recommendations based on good mentorship, watching others, and intuition. But the other 2/3 is immensely helpful and will bump my career to the next level, I’m sure.
I thought this book was a really good summarization of skills if I could be helpful with dealing with client management a very introductory step-by-step guide some of the points of course seem like common sense but in the end, sometimes common sense is not so common.
