Another good book in the Royal Bastards MC series. Kinda weird with the curse but it worked out well. If something like that happened in real life we would all be freaking out....lol
The first @ half of the book was mainly head space. Too much thoughts with not much action. I, myself don't like when it's just thoughts in the head. I prefer more club action.
This is Pipe and Tayla's story. It starts as he is a young man just out of high school when his girlfriend gets killed and he saves a baby. It tells how he came to join the MC.
Tayla is married to a military man who is off at another location and she gets a picture of her husband cheating on her. I don't usually like books with cheaters but she cheats on him with Pipe. After her husband comes home they decide to work things out but she is not happy. Even six years later and after getting hit enough she finally asks for help. Pipe has always loved her but he is finally interested in someone else. Should he give up what is in front of him or take a second chance with her.

These Anchorage brothers don't mess around!
While in highschool, Pipe, worked at a pizza joint with his girlfriend. Waiting for his girl one night, the boss informs them they have to take these last two pizza for delivery and then they were off. What happens this night stays with Pipe for a long while. This night was his introduction to the RBMC. Years later, Pipe, is heavily involved in the MC. Pipe and Rain go into Paddy's for a meal and a drink. Looking through the window they can see the place is being held up. They intervene, and discover the Russians and Samoan are working together. At this point, readers will discover and fall in to a well written suspense, with characters so genuine, frightening, tough, and unapologetic, the only outcome is war. Pipe was this complex man underneath the surface. A true gentleman when it came to protecting women, and children. He struggled with the love that he had for Tayla. Heck Yeah!
I thought Chris’s first book in the RBMC series, Frozen Rain, was amazing, this one though just topped it!
I love Chris’s is writing [big fan], and the man just keeps upping his game. His stories and characters are always unique and so darn entertaining. Pipe Dreams is a great example to prove it.
Now this is not your typical MC book. Oh no! It’s so much more. It has what every good one should have like; big scary bikers, hot chicks and a ton of action BUT it also has humor, romance and a hella creepy Russian urban legend that gave me the heebie-jeebies!
This one here is a must read

I loved this book!! I was addicted from the start. It starts out strong and stays that way through the story. This was a perfect blend of romance, chemistry, strong characters, suspense, surprises, and action. The chemistry between Pipe and Tayla was off the charts sizzling. A creatively captivating, thrilling, and superbly written story. Every new book that I read from CM Genovese is better than the last. Do yourself a favor and pick this one up, you won’t be disappointed.

Pipe’s life changes radically when his high school girlfriend is brutally murdered. He avenges her by killing the culprits with a hammer. That same night he meets BP, the Prez of the Antorage RB.
As a RB, he meets the love of his life, the daughter of a previous RB, Talya, but she is married. After her husband cheated on her she starts an affair with Pipe, although she finally leaves him and returns with her husband, but Pipe never stops loving her.
Pipe has also has to face a curse that is thrown on him on the day of the death of his girlfriend when he saves the life of a baby, the Black Volga wanted that baby and now it will take revenge on Pipe by killing all his loved ones.

One outstanding read! I swear this book is not only filled with the excitement, thrills and suspense of an MC, but it is also filled with the macabre. What begins with young love soon brings forth gruesome murders, demonic creatures and a life saved, which spawns nightmares on the savior.
Now grown, Pipeline is a member of the Royal Bastards MC in Anchorage Alaska and is about to begin a journey that will bring him not only nightmares, but something that he never thought he would find again.
Tayla is in a marriage that she thought was wonderful at one time. Now, she knows more than she knew before and is looking for something she hasn't had in quite sometime. Walking up to Pipe, she knows what she wants and want's to get it tonight. A night that will lead to more nights and days and a betrayal that will crush one of them.
I absolutely loved this book. It held me captive and even though I had to put it down because, well you know life always gets in the way of your reading...work would be beckoning me in the morning. But when I picked it up again it would not be put down until I reached the thrilling end. If you love MC reads and enjoy a little bit of unearthly elements in your reads, well hold on to your hats because this one has all of that with enough heat between the sheets to set hells fires to shame. Outstanding read. Mr. Genovese’s books never cease to amaze me. With each book he gives us a storyline which is unique and told with his extraordinary way of telling a story and in my humble opinion he has outdone himself with Pipe Dream. The book is thrilling, action packed and full of surprises and suspense. It also has a heartfelt, romantic side to it as well.
Pipe’s life dramatically changed when he was a teenager. The night he and his girl were in the wrong place at the wrong time causing her violent death and his revenge with a hammer. That same night he was found by the Prez of the RB, Anchorage Chapter and was given a safe haven and protection. A home and a brotherhood that will always have his back. All these events have made Pipe the fierce man he is today. But that’s just on the outside. On the inside he still fights the demons and unbelievable events of that one night. A night that still threatens himself and all that he holds dear.
Can he ever escape those that seek him in his nightmares? Can he protect those he loves.
Kudos Mr. Genovese for giving us another phenomenal RBMC read and I can’t wait to see what happens next with the RB Anchorage Alaska Chapter.

Once again CM Genovese delivers a book that has it all. A gripping MC story with a twist that has you begging for more. I love the fact that he is not afraid to venture into the world of hexes. Are they real or just a dream? Make your own conclusion once you read the book. "Pipe Dreams" is a total page turner. I got sucked into the story immediately. Pipe's life was never easy. Losing his girlfriend as a teenager paved his future in more ways than just one. One thing is clear from the beginning. Pipe is a devoted and strong willed man that will do anything to protect the people he loves and cares for. The "Black Volga" is a very interesting twist and brings an urban legend to life that has followed Pipe since his teenage years and now threatens his future.
CM Genovese is a phenomenal author that also writes erotica under Chris Genovese and horror under Carver Pike. Especially in his MC books you will see the Carver Pike influence because it gives the book a different, more captivating, spin. He is not afraid to push boundaries as a writer and has become one of the most diverse authors within the indie community. I highly recommend to read his books. You will not be disappointed at all but rather make you grab his next book.

Great addition to the RBMC series!
Pipe Dreams is the story of Tayla and Pipe, a member of the RBMC chapter in Anchorage, AK. Their story is definitely not linear - they have a child together from a one night stand, despite the fact Tayla is married to someone else. Over the years, Tayla has allowed Pipe to get to know and stay close to their son, despite not revealing the true nature of their relationship. When Tails and her husband decide to split, Pipe steps up hoping for a chance at the true relationship he's always wanted. But nothing in life is smooth sailing and there seem to be some dark forces on the horizon that could their budding relationship and their son.
I'd give this story 4.5 stars, but decided to round up. I thought the characters felt real and had depth that I didn't necessarily feel in the first story. Oddly (for me, lol), I actually enjoyed the OW drama - because it wasn't drama and it wasn't made to be something it wasn't. I really enjoyed Carla's part in the story and her as a character. The story meandered a bit in spots, but overall I really enjoyed it. I also really liked the dark, somewhat mystical aspects that were added in as well.
I'll definitely be keeping my eye for Chris's next release!

Pipe Dreams was so freaking awesome! I loved Pipe - he was realistic and hot, a rough, sexy man with all the feels! His tragic beginning was awful, and it set the wheels in motion for problems with the Black Volga, something that continues to haunt him to this very day. The paranormal elements in this book never stopped creeping up on me, reminding me that evil was always close at hand.
I loved the romance he had with Tay too. The love they felt couldn't reveal itself, and yet it was palpable and deep. The precious stolen moments they could manage made me yearn for both of them to say to hell with it all, let's do this!
And the twists just kept coming. Dealing with protecting his brothers, his women, and trying to stay one step ahead of the game, all of it culminated in one fantastic ending! And don't forget about Oosik and the other characters, gotta love their quirks!
When I want something off the beaten path, I know CM Genovese well deliver in spectacular fashion!

Mind Blowing
As I can say about any CM Genovese, Chris Genovese or Carver Pike book, the writing is non comparable. The kind of writing that draws you in. Had me believing in the Black Volga and the stories behind it. CM again brought every word to life that I read. I fell totally in love with Pipeline. Yummy! I do have to say, I am not #TeamTayla!!! I actually really tried to like the heffa, but I just couldn't get there with her. I'm not sure if it's because I'm so invested in Pipe, that she urked me for how things went with them in the beginning or what. I love me some Carla though. She made me smile and hope the best for her and her story. I did want to find out more. I wanted to know how Caleb reacted and all.
As usual in CM fashion, this story will stay with me for a while, the aspects that were involved in the story was so rememberable and unusual. CM you have yet again slayed another book!!! 🙌🏾

This book has all the nitty gritty goodness that you would expect from any CM Genovese book that you pick up! The twists and turns that came from this book had me on the edge of my seat turning the pages faster than my eyes could read because I absolutely needed to know what happened next.
I’m so happy with the way the ending turned out!
The chemistry between Pipe and Tayla is OFF THE CHARTS! These two were separated long ago but had a connection that kept them in each other’s lives only to continue to keep the flame going to a candle that never should have been lit. What they go through will blow your mind and keep you enthralled till the very end.
5 stars! I cannot wait to see what comes next ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A big mess
This book is a disaster.
1. There's graphic OW stuff on page. Outside the relationship sex doesn't belong in romance books. Ever.
2. I like paranormal/supernatural/fantasy/sci-fi, but what even was this? The paranormal supernatural stuff didn't belong in this book. It didn't make any sense whatsoever. And this stuff was the craziest bunch of nonsense ever. It was bizarre and horrible and just...well, what the h even was that?
3. This book was disconnected from the first. They don't seem like they belong in the same series.
4. There was no absolute resolution with the divorce and Caleb still hadn't been told at the end.
5. It ended weird. There wasn't a good last line or anything like that.
Overall, it was just bad. Really really bad.

Pipe has suffered loss at a young age when his high school sweetheart is killed while delivering pizza. He avenges her death only to find out he's brought a curse onto himself.
Years after, once he's become a Royal Bastard he crosses path with the beautiful Tayla who happens to be married and she's upset when she finds out her military husband has been doing so for a while. Pipe can't resist her advances and there begins the unfolding of the story and this curse that has been following him.
I loved the paranormal aspect of the story and how Pipe put an end to the curse. I look forward to more stories from this chapter of the Royal Bastards!

Demonic creatures vs motorcycle club?
I really enjoyed this book as it was different to what I could have been expecting. After reading Frozen Rain I wasn't sure what would come next for RBMC Anchorage but Pipe Dreams was exactly what I needed.
Pipe and Tayla's story here is a second chance romance. While Pipe has a dark and bloody side it was nice to see his softer side and that certainly has great balance in it.

I really enjoyed this book as it was different to what I could have been expecting. After reading Frozen Rain I wasn't sure what would come next for RBMC Anchorage but Pipe Dreams was exactly what I needed.
Pipe and Tayla's story here is a second chance romance. While Pipe has a dark and bloody side it was nice to see his softer side and that certainly has great balance in it.

Another one by this author that is not for the weak of heart. What an exciting, fast moving story. Hard to put down. I'm asking myself, does this author have an extremely active imagination, or has he been a member of a MC &/or lived in Alaska? I'm hoping it's the former!
I read about Pipe in Frozen Rain, and knew what an integral member of the Royal Bastards MC Anchorage Chapter he was, but this isn't only his story, it got REALLY personal. And the stories of the women in his life. Another WOW! Quite a story! Wondering if Author Chris has plans to continue the series with this RBMC chapter? Time will tell!

Good story with the unexpected elements
What a starter to this story with Pipe. It’s like a what the and a heartbreaking moment rolled up and shocking. Pipe was determined to make it through the darkness. I give him credit because he kept fighting when most would have caved. It’s a good story but there is all around violence, multiple enemies, and I only mention this because other readers are sensitive about this. It’s part of the storyline but just the FYI. The MC brothers help Pipe get his happy. Read On!

Tayla daughter of the vwd bar owner and royal bastard.
Married to abuse husband she turns to pipe for comfort one thing lead go another he get her pregnant but she don't leave her husband.
Pipe witness his gf and bestfriend murder and kills the men responsible and saved an innocent baby gets cursed and now had to protect his son from it years later.
Lot drama with the Russian who happen to be responsible for pipe past trouble.

Mysterious and slightly paranormal element added to the intensity of this story and the twists. Pipeline was fabulous and I felt for him because he had that vulnerable side, he kept it well hidden but it was there from losing Holly so young and in such a traumatic way. Wonderful characters, it has been a while since I read Rain's story but soon got back into who was who and where, which was great. Plot was extremely interesting and suspenseful, kept me on edge because you didn't know what would happen next. Fab read

Wow, this story, let me tell you! It is jam packed with twists and turns, edge of your set action, MC law (and all that implies), passion, darkness, an intensity that will leave you breathless, heat and more, much much more. I loved every second of Tay and Piper's story. I found myself reading like a mad lady to get to the end and I was so happy with every aspect of this story. Thrilling and amazing; a must read for all MC lovers!

The Royal Bastards don't disappoint, they bring the wrath and take out the trash at the same time saving the day. They aren't perfect, but who among us is.

Good book
This book has some supernatural characters in it. Like some of the other RBMC chapters have otherworldly creativity, so does this one. Pipe didn't start put as RBMC material but just one night changed him and his direction forever. I think the RBMC is really good for Pipe. Tayla and Carla are two different women and luckily for Pipe they put their differences aside and come together.

Pipe Dreams, for me, was emotional. My heart ached for Pipe and all he'd been through and all he wanted. Things that seemed to be just a little out of reach for him. Until they're not. It's also dark, a bit paranormal and incredibly sexy. What a great combination. The surprises and action are not in short supply, I think that's a given with the Royal Bastards. Pipe Dreams is an absolute wild ride and you sure don't want to miss it.

This book had my head spinning in circles. An dark and gritty MC with a very dark paranormal twist. The whole time you’re reading you’re trying to figure out how Pipe is involved in this dark black magic that follows him. This will pull you in with the bony fingers of the Black Volga and won’t let you go until the end!

Pipe is great. I was a little weird about Carla, but I understand her part in this book. Tay and Pipe were another story. He's heartbroken or just plain broken. But that broken heart came with a curse. And how can forget about those pesky russians.

This writing is fabulous. Pipe is doing all he can but the longing for something more is eating away at him. He wants Tayla and his son but she chose someone else. He fights hard everyday to make it. I love each character especially Carla and all her wisdom. Excellent writing.

This is Pipe's story and being a memeber of the Royal Bastards MC, his tale is not for the faint of heart. We know the members are tough and most of them lived through some kind of traumatic experience that shaped them to be the men they are today. It's a gritty tale with an urban legend thrown in for good measure!
