The Wrong Way- an example of how not to do the West Highland Way

Rate this book
A short humourous account of my attempt at the West Highland Way, a long distance path in Scotland, UK, with my twin and a friend in 1988. The West Highland Way stretches 95 miles from Milngavie in Glasgow to Fort William traversing some of Scotland's most beautiful and rugged scenery. This was undertaken without any prior long-distance walking experience or knowledge. It is a great example of character building and the amazing hospitality of Scotland. We thought that the most important piece of kit to take was our dancing shoes for the celebration in Fort William on completion. We were so wrong.
