We return to Simple Texas and the Bad Boys of the Double Diamond ranch, where the bad boys have turned into good men and the women who love them.
Rodeo cowboy Sawyer Dawson, is the last of the bad boys of the Double D who is still foot loose and fancy free and has no plans to make it permanent with any of the buckle bunnies he has met along the way. But when Maisy Sweeny is put in danger, he jumped in to save her, but did she really need saving? Both of them return to Simple, TX to recuperate from their injuries. Will they be enemies or friends?
Maisy Sweeny is returning to Simple, to search for her father...is he alive or is he dead. That is Maisy mission. Along the way Sawyer is going to help her, not that she asked him to. Because Maisy has always loved Sawyer and he can’t see her for his broken heart. He may look to the world like a carefree Texas rascal, but Maisy knows that underneath that carefree exterior is the man she loves. He just has to get passed that night in the hotel with a bottle of Tequlia that rendered his mind blank about what really did happen... and did that night bring him to the brink of fatherhood. Only Maisy knows what really happened and what will Sawyer do when he knows the truth.
I loved how this story revolved around all the Texas Bad boys as they all had a hand in the romance of Maisy and Sawyer. And of course, Chester and Lucas to hand out their pearls of wisdom to the couple. Maisy and Sawyer’s story was a wonderful wrap up to the Double Diamond Bad Boys. I always feel a warmth in my heart and a smile on my face when I finish one of your books.

The last of the Double Diamond bad boys finally gets his story. Sawyer Dawson is a rodeo rider who has no interest in happy ever after or giving up his rodeo career. Sometimes life makes those decisions for you whether you’re ready or not.
Maisy Sweeney came to Simple, Texas looking for answers about her missing father. Running into Sawyer causes all kinds of complications and a big misunderstanding but somewhere along the away these two finally figure out what is important in life.
I have thoroughly enjoyed this series about the Double Diamond bad boys. Each story has had their very own unique plotline with laugh out loud dialogue and lots of secondary characters that have added such fun and “flavor” to the story. Sawyer and Maisy’s story was such a great addition to this series. I loved them both, got frustrated with them both but in the end loved how their happy ever after came about. I have totally enjoyed this fun and sexy series.

Where do I begin with the last man in The Double D Group Sawyer Dawson? This book will absolutely suck you right in and before you know it bam its over with these men but hold on there is more to come. You all love these men and their women and the folks of Simple Texas they become part of your family and make you feel apart of their small town. Bronc rider Sawyer Dawson has always had feelings for Maisey Sweeny but Lincoln made sure he didn't cross the line,but one drunken night he doesn't remember changes everything even his career. Maisey Sweeny has been to Simple Texas looking for her missing dad but she finds more close friends their but she is also a bronc rider and has feelings for Sawyer but when one lie starts can she tell him the truth even if it destroys her heart? Katie Lane really did it with this book and also with concussions and the end results this book was absolutely phenomenal and I absolutely feel like a part of the Double D group and just love those men.

I have a soft spot for all the Bad Boys of the Double Diamond Ranch but Sawyer and his story might just be my favourite. As with the other cowboys, he meets his match in Maisey Sweeney - a fellow rodeo cowgirl - who tempts him even though he's warned away by one of his Double D brothers.
I love everything about their relationship - Maisey is feisty and adorable and she makes the perfect match for Sawyer. And having all the Bad Boys in the story now just makes it all the sweeter! And all the secondary characters we've made in the journey return to bring the laughter and warmth to Simple, Texas.
Definitely an enjoyable read. I can't wait to return for Emma and Boone's story!!

Sawyer and Maisey are made for each other. They are both bronc riders in the rodeo. Sawyer didn’t realize how much he had cared for her. She had always been hot for him but then they fell in love..yay!!
