He's gonna be big.Little Badman, aka Humza Khan, has saved the world TWICE.So it's lucky when Humza and his friends narrowly avoid being hit by rock from outer-space. What does get hit is a box of delicious samosas, which turn . . .Radioactive! Now the trio have superpowers, which is pretty cool. What's less cool is the giant hamsters on the loose. Looks like a job for Little Badman and his crew.
I love this book. Very funny. My 9 year-old started reading it for me and we had so much fun that in his absence I finished it on my own. I just couldn't wait...
I really liked Little Badman's badman style and smartness. He really loves his samosas too and his super hero friends were the best. When Eggheads and Marshmallows join forces, they rule.
One of the lessons behind the story is to get to know people before you decide you don't like them as they may turn out to be super cool.
When Humza and his friends inadvertently eat radioactive samosas (you’ll need to read the book to find out how that happens), they are surprised to discover they’ve developed superpowers. That would be great if it wasn’t for the fact that they’re now up against super charged rodents.
An amusing, fun adventure story with similarities to Kid Normal.
I read this to my 2.5 year old son at bedtime, a chapter a night and both he and I loved it. It was exciting, fun and crazy. It left us both wanting more and he asked for 'the samosa book' every night even after we had finished reading it. We will definitely be reading more from this author in the future.
Not as good as the first two, but still really enjoyed it. The first two had more mystery to them, and felt more thought out. This one didn’t have much mystery elements to it, just adventure, and a bit of comedy. It did make me laugh out loud in some parts, so still very good. I hope there’s more to come, I like reading these. Even as an adult. Maybe I’m just young at heart.
Fun superhero novella featuring the popular characters from the Little Badman books. Moments of pure comic ridiculousness (checking whether a radioactive chicken nugget is halal!) are sure to bring giggles and there’s a great message about not judging people on where they are from.
I loved the book. It was so fun to read . My favourite part is when they were arguing about the samosas . I give 5/5 stars . And I can’t wait to read the rest of the series. 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😃😃😁😁😁😁😁😁😃😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁😁
Having not read any of the other Little Bad,an books I was pleasantly surprised to find that I don’t need to. It was fun, quirky with great powers, fun and a wonderful message at the end.
World Book Day 2021 quick read for children. Fun adventure with a young lad called Humza (AKA Little Badman), who, along with his two friends, are granted super powers when they eat samosas that have been hit by a meteorite during a picnic. Kids will love this story!
I haven't read any of the other books in the Little Badman series, but this reminds me so much of Captain Underpants. I loved those books when I was younger, but getting to read a similar story with a diverse cast of characters educating readers on different cultures? This would have certainly been a favourite of mine if I'd read it when I was younger, and I'm looking forward to reading the rest of the Little Badman books (and eventually sharing them with my own little ones). This is ridiculously silly, but in the most hilarious way.
I read this book to my Year 5s for a bit of fun and we loved it -it is very funny. The main character is also Muslim which I didn't realise but I know that was really nice for a member of my class who probably hasn't had a main character he could identify with in that way before. I'll be looking to get more of the series for our reading corner.
