After Ayden revealed the Ascendancy’s secret for oppressing their citizens, his journey of self-discovery becomes increasingly more perilous. As uprisings span across the Western Continent and species scheme for control, Ayden struggles with accepting his feelings for another male and his fear of becoming the weapon everyone believes he was born to be. When the opportunity to reside in a place devoid of inequality presents itself, Ayden must decide to stay in this discovered utopia or face his destiny and head back into the fray.
A well done sequel to Aberration where it felt like I was catching up with some friends (at least on the good guy side of things). All the chess pieces are moving at a satisfying pace with surprising twists and a cliffhanger that makes me excited for the next installment.
