VENGEFUL ROYALS is the FINAL BOOK in the Heirs of Havoc Series. A dark bully romance intended for readers 18+. This book contains dark themes, including abuse, violence and sexual relationships that some readers might be uncomfortable with.
This series is a great fast read, although we never got to know what the relationship was between his dad and her parents? I like more emotional reads where I really get drawn in to everything the characters are feeling so this is where this book feel a little bit short for me. But it was still great
If I could be honest I dont think the titles matched any of the books. In the first book nobody was Ruthless, the second I wouldn't say the prince was bitter, just miserable and weak. The final installment who exactly was vengeful? In the final book I did enjoy reading, however I felt certain parts were rushed and if not detailed enough.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. It kept me on my toes. I loved Brooklyn and Jude. I think their love story was well written.
I was a little disappointed because there were a few things that I wish were elaborated on. One of them was about Jude's, Lila's, and Margaeux's childhood. It would have given more context of what they went through as children. Especially the basement. I would have liked to know what was down there that made them so terrified of it.
The next one was about how Brooklyn's parents and the twin's dad knew each other. There wasn't a lot of context behind that.
I really wanted to understand Margaeux but there wasn't much context with her. I thought this book would explain that but it didn't. It would have been nice to know about her involvement in mob that got her prison time.
I thought the endings for book two and three were a little rushed.
Overall. It was a pretty good series. I would recommend this series and definitely read it again.
I was super suspicious of Aiden. At the end of book 2 when we were first introduced to him, I actually liked him, but my opinion of him quickly changed as soon as I started book 3 and we were re-introduced to him again. My instincts were right.
