I was given this book in exchange for an honest review.
The best things about this book, by far, are the characters and how they relate to one another. The development of the relationship between Bear and Serene as well as the supporting characters of Queen, Devonte, Etc. made this story so much stronger. The relationship between Mona and Candace could have been developed slightly more, and the dating relationship between Rich Bags and Koi could have been omitted. The overall plot was good. The book was interesting enough to keep my attention, there were not a lot of errors in the writing, and the book doesn't end as a cliffhanger. I also appreciate that the characters don't have the "light skinned, long hair, rail thin with big butts" descriptions.
The plot was, at times, overdone. This gave the book the feeling of dragging on vs flowing easily, but that sometimes happens when authors collaborate. Any other criticisms would be spoilers. Thus, I will just say that this is a good read that I would recommend to others.
