Towards a New World Order

Rate this book
This book is about the evolution of social, political, and economic challenges facing the world during the last century. Such subjects as Fascism, Dictators, Totalitarianism, Socialism and Democratic Institutions are discussed in some details, while Right versus Left of the political spectrum and the free-market economy are viewed with a critical eye by a few international pundits. The merits and demerits of various forms of government and their democratic electoral systems are critically analysed, as is the impact on society of religious fundamentalism in all three monotheistic faiths. As well, scholarly dialogues with ideologically independent international experts reveal new aspects of the post-Soviet years as they explain the dangers inherent in demonizing Russia only to justify the continuing existence of NATO and the growing hegemony of the USA over the western world. They also point out the perils engendered by a new world order controlled by one and only one nation. Finally, there is a human element in the story, related to personal tragedy and newly found romantic relationships among its characters. It should be noted that while this book is a work of fiction, all historic data and socio-economic problems described in it are absolutely factual and free of ideological influence.
