After getting her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Environmental Policy and a Masters in Energy Policy and Law and working in the environmental field for several years, she decided to become a stay-at-home mom. That is when thoughts of a writing career really took off. Although she competed in NaNoWriMo multiple times, 2019 was the first year that she won. This win inspired her to make writing a career. B. Ivy Woods can certainly write some amazing political suspense romance, and I hope she never stops doing so. Eve & Kane unfinished history in his mind, and I couldn't help but loving that he was willing to chase her down. Lately, she's been chasing a story about a political cover up, and there are those who aren't pleased by it so she finds herself in the crossfire of danger. Luckily, it's the perfect time to cross Kane's path again, and he has no problem protecting her from that danger since it's really not a one person type of job. It makes for twists that get the f-bombs dropping as this author is absolutely fantastic at weaving them together. I live for suspense romance, and when you add politics in the mix, things just get even better. I'm keeping this review short & sweet because there's a lot in the details and I don't want to accidentally give anything away, plus, it's just better to experience it for yourselves! HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I am enjoying this series because I like this author. I was happy to see that Eve and Kane got together in this book. The author has an easy way of writing and connecting the "dots" of her story. There is just enough mystery and romance to hold your interest and it is a fast read which I like too. Some authors tend to get carried away but not Ms. Woods, she knows how to keep her story moving. This series has been a pleasant surprise. I think you might enjoy it - why not give it a try?

This book is all about Eve & Kane!! The chemistry between Eve and Kane was amazing. The mystery in this novel was good. I was able to guess the cover-up halfway into the book. I enjoyed this political novel by B. Ivy Woods. I will be picking up the next book in this series.

I read this book in just a few hours I could not put it down I love all of ivys books she is one terrific author I recommend all of her books Dorothy schaefer

I really enjoyed book #3 of The Capital series! It was fun having Eve as the main character and getting to know more about her and her story. The rekindle with Kane was not something I saw coming, so that was a fun twist of surprises and really sweet to read about. I loved the mystery aspect that was written into the love story. The way Kane cares and has the desire to protect Eve was very evident from the start. There were parts of the story that had me on the edge of my seat, and others that made me feel all the feels. The only reason I don't rate this as a 5 is because it ended way too quickly! :)

I did not read the other books !! I love a suspense romance. I MUST read the previous books to learn more about the Capitol world
I love the opening of Eve in the secret under ground tunnel and she discovers a secret 😯
Kane 🥰 he adores her Eve and he would do anything to protect her. I love their banter too & their rain checks.
If you want a romamce suspense, read this and you love to discover a dirty political secret. Than this books for you
I love Kane's parents cause they don't do hand shakes, they do a hugs. I just love that such a caring family he has

Be carful what you say...
This is one of those books that teaches you that you have to be careful of what you say AND where. It also will teach you to own up to your mistakes and use your voice to speak out for what’s right.
Wow, Kane and Eve’s chemistry and their passion is definitely an adventure in itself. And you’re most definitely be taken on an exciting ride.

Eve & Kane ..I love this series ❤
Hidden in the Capitol By B. Ivy Woods has romance, mystery and suspense, which i love! Eve and Kane have history..one night with unfinished business! Eve is investigating a cover-up, it's political. Whoever is involved wants her to walk away or else. Kane is her protector and one night is not enough.. They're sensual chemistry is undeniable. I recommend this author, her writing style. I this book in one sitting. Check it out💓👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

My favorite B.Ivy Woods novel so far. The rocky love story between two likeable characters, Eve and Kane, held my interest. The mystery was intriguing. I also liked the setting of a small town near metro DC.
