Gem City #2

What Comes of Breaking Promises and Guitar Strings

Rate this book
Ethan Fisher is kind of a badass. Just ask him. The fact that he plays guitar and sings in a band only fuels the fire of his flirtatious nature. That is, until he meets Courtney Ross: an anxious, pixie-like cheerleader with a vocabulary much larger than his. Things would be perfect - if she didn't live eighteen hundred miles away. Courtney steals his heart, but how long can she keep it?

I tell stories that make me feel like I'm not the only one who thinks the world is a crazy, scary, beautiful place. I hope that my readers feel it too. I also love doughnuts. Too much, in fact. And 90s music and my husband and my son and my feisty little dog :). Do drop me a line here or on social media- I love to talk books.

So excited to bring you Ethan's version of events. This is a companion novel for What Comes of Eating Doughnuts With a Boy Who Plays Guitar, though it could also be read on its own. This story used to be part of the sequel, How One Attempts to Chase Gravity, but begged to have its own place in the series. I hope you all enjoy getting inside Ethan's head! Plus, lots more guitar :).

It was hard reading

Boy this reminds me of high school and all the romances but we did not have sex. Those guys never heard of rubbers or know a girls anatomy. I got to say I can see the problems Ethan was having, he still saw other girls sexually and that was a problem for any relationship. The drugs and alcohol just added to the problem. Its too bad they didn't encourage each other and spend quality time when they did talk. Man the pain of youth. I want Ethan to get the girl. Also I hope he stays in a band and performs. Not much rock and roll in these books.
