Luc Nightingale is tired of being cast as the bad guy. Sure, he's the Devil, but the constant bad press is wearing thin. He needs a break from Hell, but to do that he has to find a successor.
Harper Cole has no idea what she's getting into when she shakes hands on a deal with the Devil to hand over her firstborn son. Truth be told she has no intention of having kids. Thinking charismatic Luc is delusional, the idea of seducing him has her throwing caution to the wind. But she soon finds out she is indeed dealing with the Devil, and baby Domenic is born.
Much to Harper's relief, Luc has decided that Domenic should live with her until he's fully grown. But having a handsome Devil popping in and out of Harper's daily life is hard. Especially when he's also popping in and out of Harper's bed . . .

From Paris To Forever is Savannah’s first published novel, but has many stories waiting in the wings to be written, and to engage her readers.

Born in Scotland, Melbourne has been her home for many years, where she enjoys the wonderful food, exceptional theatre productions and numerous laneways boasting fabulous coffee venues. All ideal writing fodder for her active imagination.
This is a great story, the characters are strong, bold and very likeable, even if one of them is The Devil himself and if the Devil was like this maybe things would be better in the world, I loved meeting Luc Nightingale and Harper Cole in a journey that that had some ups and downs but so much love, I hope that you will pick this one up and enjoy it like I did.
Luc is the Devil and living in hell is not what it used to be for him he wants someone who he can train up and take over for him in the future and his best option is a son, one who will become closer to him and learn all there is to know, for this he will need a willing woman and sets out to find someone who is will to make a deal with the devil.
Harper Cole is a stunt woman, who travels a lot, and while at a club in Monaco, enjoying herself she meets Luc and the strangest of sparks fly when they meet and she wants to put her hands all over him, time spent with him only makes her want him more and after a few drinks and some talking she makes a deal with Luc to hand over her first born son, even though she knows that she does not want kids. Soon she is realizing what she has done with Luc popping up in her life all over the place and her life changes dramatically with her having a son, Domenic and she is thrilled that Luc has decided to leave Domenic with her till he is older.
This was a story that had me turning the pages to find out what was going to happen next, things were changing so much for Harper, Luc is more like a fallen angel than a devil in my mind and was very easy to love and Harper what a strong person she is, she stood up for what she wanted and was caring and loving. This story was different than I expected but I did thoroughly enjoy it and am very happy to recommend it to anyone who likes a story with a twist, a little different from the normal.
Thank you Savannah Blaize for my copy to read, it really is a great story.
all i can say is that my heart melted, completely melted when Luc said “oh my beautiful girl” UGH I CANT. Also love my girl Vanessa Powell for lending me this book, highly recommend
Harper is a stunt actress. One night she decides to pretend to be the actress that she works for, since they look alike and ends up in a high end club. She meets a handsome man, Luc, who flirts with her and takes her gambling resulting in winning millions of dollars. She quits her job and returns home to her husband. When she returns home, she catches him cheating on her. She sees Luc again and strikes a deal with him. He offers her the gift of time, to go back a year to divorce her husband so that she doesn’t have to split her earning in half with him at the divorce. The twist is that she has to give him her first born son. He reveals that he is the devil. She agrees to the deal, thinking he is a little crazy.
When she wakes up a year early and realises that Luc, is the devil, she is still not worried cause she knows that she never wants to have children. The author makes us guess, how they will get together and how will the first born will occur. However, the story changes to reveal another love story between Harper and Richard. We are invested into how their love story unfolds and still feel a bit of loss at the end of Harper and Luc’s love story that ends up being a friendship.
Theres a lot of grief when Richard has an accident and dies and in all honesty there is also devastation for the reader. We feel sorry for Harper and sad for Richard gone. Then the love between Harper and Luc reignites. We get invested in this story again and try to feel happy for them. I must confess, the way the story is written at this point all blame for Richard’s death points to Luc. Instant thought of his causing it to take Harper back. He explains he had nothing to do with it, but then Luc shows a lot of secret keeping throughout the novel.
Theres a lot of events unfolding again and as we reach the end of the novel we wait for that happy ending to finally come. BUT. But, there is no a happy ending for this love story. Luc sacrifices his life with his family, to rule the underworld. He ends up erasing Harper’s memory of their love to help her deal with the loss. I really was hoping for a happier ending. I feel like Luc should have fought harder for his love for her and his children, but gave up too easy. His character was not as loved, as he was full of secrets and lies.
I haven’t read the second novel of this series. Maybe there a hidden happy end there for Luc and Harper.

This is my first book by this author and it really took me by surprise by how different this book is from the typical “Devil” stories out there. It is beautifully written and so engaging. This is not your typical love story. Harper meets the devil one night during a fun night out. Being that she doesn’t really believe he is the “devil” she accepts a deal from him. From then on her life takes an unexpected turn that takes her on a wild journey of love, loss and all in-between. What I really liked is that the author succeeded in making this fiction story feel pretty realistic. The only thing that threw me for a loop was the ending of the book. I guess we will see what happens in book two. Enjoy!!!
It took me a while to pinpoint what it was. It was bothering me, and it was that they read flat. And someone dies and it’s like there’s hardly any emotion even the person who was dying, said things that didn’t seem very likely.
I’m not really sure how to explain it but if they had more well-rounded characters, I think the story would’ve been more interesting.
I loved this series. I could hear Tom Ellis in my head as I read, and I was quite ok with that! Ms Blaize is a new to me author and I am so glad I took a chance on her books. This series is brilliant. It follows the Devil and his family....yes, his family! Book three left me wanting more!
Several reasons: Spelling and grammatical mistakes, one chapter heading did not match the perspective of the chapter, the FMC forgave Lucifer for a lot of privacy violations and misogyny (even blaming herself on almost all occasions). Then the ending made everything pointless
The hero of this entertaining story is Luc, ruler of the Underworld, but mostly a benevolent Devil after he has shaken hands on his deal with Harper, the heroine.
He only meets out punishment to baddies! As he explains early in the tale: 'Let's get something clear. Most people who end up in Hell are not nice people, Harper. They've caused a lot of damage to their fellow men ... and women. My job is to make them see the error of their ways.'
The story moves at a cracking pace, is well thought through, convincing and clever, and so cheeky and witty I laughed out loud in parts. It's full of little plays on words, as per: 'she marched over to the mini-bar and poured herself a shot of brandy. 'Do you want one? I need this. I've had a Hell of a day.' Francesca knocked back the drink and poured another. 'Sure. I've had a day in Hell. Hit me up.'
Needless to say that was Luc, in human form in a hotel bedroom, speaking to a white-collar criminal who was about to meet her unpleasant destiny at his hands.
in 'Deal with the Devil', Savannah Blaize has used her life experience to write convincing family scenes of the Devil as friend, lover, husband and father (not in that exact order), with classy bedroom scenes, and her keen sense of humour is displayed to the maximum in this amusing and highly readable book.
Such an enjoyable read! This definitely gave me my Lucifer fix whilst waiting for new episodes. I loved every character in this book and they were all so well written and felt so real as I read the book. The character growth throughout was also really well written, along with the storyline, which kept you hooked from page one and provided different character perspectives that added even more to the story.
