My husband and I live in Texas where we raise our three amazing, yet crazy boys.

Writing has been my passion since I was in my teens, but I was never able to commit to it full time until 2020.

In the past I had the opportunity to work as a newspaper columnist for two different newspapers, but my heart was always in fiction.

I have a fun, 6 book, complete series out now on Amazon, and also available at Walmart. Check out A Fairy Awesome Series.

I think book 3 is the best!

And honestly, that's saying a lot because I loved the first two books. I don't know what it was, but I feel this final installment of The Way Trilogy just hit every single point I had hoped it would, while still throwing in enough stuff I wasn't prepared for to leave me guessing throughout the whole book.

I didn't know how it would work with them needing to travel to the west coast, i.e. how that timeline would work, but it played out perfectly with enough action along the way to keep me engaged. I saw another review wanting this series to continue, and I couldn't agree more. I'd love to have a mini novella of Luke's backstory!

Overall, I loved this series, and I'm so glad I stumbled across this author. I defiantly think we will see big things from her in the future!

Satisfying ending...

This started as a situation where my wife's book club was reading book 1, and so I begrudgingly joined them. A few chapters in though, Anna's smart ass, sometimes dingy personality had me hooked.

The series as a whole was great. I think I enjoyed book 2 & 3 more, but solely based on the addition of more than one POV. It was a good dynamic for this series, and pulled me in more.

As for book 3, what can I say other than this ending was totally satisfying, but not until the very, very end. I was really worried there for a second that I'd stumbled across an author that likes to piss her readers off with a crazy ass ending, but she fixed it, and I was able to take a sight of relief. I loved the addition of some new characters, and the way some loose ends were wrapped up. I find myself wishing this series wasn't over. Maybe Anna and Luke will make an appearance in a future series.

I'm sad... (Careful, vague spoilers below)

I'm sad that my journey with Anna, Luke, Ash, and Chase is over. This was a great series where I found myself feelings like I was friends with this rag-tag team. Anna is hysterical and reminds me of my bestie, and while I loved this series, I'm hoping Ellie Aiden comes up with some way to write a new story with these characters. I don't know, maybe Luke's backstory, or a jump in the future, ten years or so, and maybe an Elder that managed to get away resurfaces.

Feel free to steal those ideas. Ha. Ha.

Book 3 - Destroying The Way was a great follow up to book 2, and a perfect ending to this trilogy. The ending was a real nail biter, and I was truly worried for a bit and didn't know how it was going to end. Ended up being a great conclusion, and I feel like Anna got what she deserved.

I also love that we got Luke's perspective in book 3, which was missing from the first two books. I understand why it was missing, but it was the addition I needed to truly know Luke, and it's one of the reasons I want to hear his backstory. Lots of tid-bits dropped throughout the series like his mom dying, and stories about the friendship between Luke, Tommy, and Easton that have me wanting more. Maybe those were dropped because Ellie is already planning something. A girl can dream!

In closing, this is one of the best self-published series I have read in a very long time, and collectively it was my favorite read of the summer. I think we can expect big things from Ellie Aiden, and I hope she gets the exposure her books deserves!

Book 3 is super charged with the teams’ emotions and actions as they set out to finalize their mission. Patience is a battle hard fought when it comes to all the time spent traveling, setbacks along the way, and seemingly endless strategizing when the urgency of their task begins at critical. An explosive ending brings this trilogy to a much needed conclusion.

Ellie Aiden creates such relatable & lovable characters, she masterfully draws you into their lives. Leaving a desire for more as bonds grow tighter and love blooms ever brighter.

I sped through this series, and thoroughly enjoyed every Way book. Fast-paced, nothing boring, great action scenes, and wonderful humor. I recommend it!
