Beaten to Death Twice: A True Story

Rate this book
‘Beaten to Death Twice’ is a true story of a family who beat their child to death – twice. A young boy, abandoned by his family who only visit him to beat him some more. This tells the story of his life and what he went through at an early age, how he overcame it and went on to play football for AC Milan, amongst other things. I am not very famous, so don’t read my true life story as a biography, for why should you be interested in the life of a stranger, but read it as a dystopian drama that really happened. It is not a classic ‘overcome adversity’ tale, rather a long journey that never seems to end, until finally after half a lifetime, light shines at the other end of the tunnel. He only has to get there. Travel with him through torturous childhood into troubled adulthood.

Beaten To Death Twice: A True Story. by Emilio D’Antel.
A very cruel story of a mother who didn’t want her middle son but never relinquished her parental rights. At around 2 1/2 he is sent to live with someone else hours away … but never given away completely .. his mother on occasions comes to see him but only to bash him and tell him that he is not liked or loved by anyone .. these people only took him because they are being paid to have him there .. not true but once you hear something enough you will start to believe it .. the cruelty is just off the charts!
Read this book to see how cruel someone can be!

A truly honest memoir

At 2 1/2 Leo’s parents gave him away to be raise by a kind lady and her daughter Lucy. Despite the fact they walked him and cared for him the best they could his parents would still visit and try to convince him they didn’t want him and only took him in for the money. Although wanting to be loved by his parents he hated to see them arrive because his mom‘s favorite pastime was to beat him. This isn’t the most fantastic writing accomplishment but for a man or whose first language is Italian I think this is a great autobiography and one you can tell from the text that is honest and heartbreaking. The story seems to flow seamlessly and although not in any kind of order it is interesting and keep you turning the pages. Despite his sad life as a child he now has a great partner and although still dealing with issues with the siblings seems to have found some sort of happiness. I enjoyed reading your story and I’m glad you decided to share it with the world it may make someone who went through something similar maybe not feel so alone. His parents were monsters and it’s all in this book. Please forgive any mistakes as I am blind and dictate my review.

Sad but tru

A true story of a young boy. I read it in one go as I needed to know what happened next. Very sad that the story was true, how can people treat children so cruelly. Highly recommend d
