This was a pretty good anthology full of mostly new to ne authors. My two favorite stories were Enchanted by Maria Vermisoglou and Serendipity by a Poppy Flynn. There were several other good stories and overall this was definitely worthy the read.
*Update* I have finished this anthology and it’s fantastic! My most favorite stories are Hollowed Power by Lissa Lynn Thomas; and Possessing the Maiden by Helena Novak! The other stories are all so creative and unique within the common theme. This is a super fun read, overall!
I have read one story from this anthology, Hollowed Power by Lissa Lynn Thomas, as a preview, and it was so much fun! The main character is fierce AF with an intriguing background and the world-building was interesting and easy to follow. Plenty of snark and humor, a bit of steamy sexiness, and a unique pet combine to make this an unforgettable story and I cannot wait time read the rest of the anthology!
Witchy Wonders by Zelda Knight is a wonderful story that I have read. This is a book with twenty authors writing stories in it and I loved it. I highly recommend this book to everyone who loves reading about ghouls, witches , supernatural and anything that goes bump in the night.

A wonderful collection of stories. Almost all of them where totally new authors to me which was fantastic! I will be adding a ton of stuff to my tbr. The collection was fun and entertaining overall but my two favorites of the stories was Enchanted by Maria Vermisoglou and Possessing the Maiden by Helena Novak!
Some really good books in here with equally good characters. Looking forward to getting my teeth into some of these. Especially looking forward to reading more on maya and chase! Can see that steaming up nicely. Not all books were to my taste but that's OK. It still gave me the chance to get to know more authors and therefore more reading material. Highly. Reccomend for those looking to find a genre or author they can snuggle with.
Absolutely fantastic collection of stories to delight everyone. Perfect for Halloween and anytime. Each and every author wrote an amazing contribution.
This was a quirky collection of stories, sure to put anyone in the Halloween mood. I especially enjoyed Halloween Party Hijinks and The Witch’s Mechanic. The stories in this anthology range from comically spooky to just plain spooky. Glad I picked. A great seasonal purchase.

*** Reviewing “WITCHING THE WOLF” by Bex Taylor” *** Chase Nakamura is facing a creature lurking in the shadows of Evervale and targeting his old pack. He needs the kind of protection that only a witch can provide. But wolves and witches don’t normally tolerate each other very well. However, it seems Fate provided for his needs when an intoxicated witch stumbled into his domain on Halloween night, beautifully quirky and so sassy. Chase will bargain for her help, but he intends to keep her for his own!
Earlier that night, Maya had stopped at a Halloween Party. Willow, who tends bar at the Evervale Inn, is one of the few wolves that Maya, the daughter of the head witch of the coven, can stand to be around. Wolves tend to have lots of ego which gets tiring to deal with. So when Willow handed Maya some sort of green cocktail and a dark smirk, Maya was immediately suspicious. But it’s Halloween… so she drank it anyway. She and the vampire, Drax, had some insults to hurl at each other and Maya was ready to leave. But Willow asked her to stay and keep her company, promising to keep the vampire away and serve free drinks to her all night. So she stayed, which probably wasn’t the best idea at the time.
Chase, the oldest son of the Alpha but banished from the pack, suspected of murdering his father’s Beta, was hiding in the shadows and watching the inhabitants of Evervale head to the Inn for the party he would be missing this year. When Maya woke up with a hangover in the middle of the forest, Chase was leaning against a tree and smirking. She had no idea which direction to go to return to town. She wasn’t happy that the man in front of her was strangely alluring and a wolf shifter. She whispered to herself to get a grip! And he of course heard her with his super hearing. She called him a fleabag and a banished nobody, and his angry look, instead of scaring her, made her smirk at him. She figured if he had wanted to kill her, he could have done it while she was unconscious. Actually, he had been guarding her to keep her safe! He told her he had information for her coven about what is going on in town and out here in the forest. Because whatever is killing the wolves will eventually turn on the other supernaturals and no one will be safe. Now he wants to make that bargain with her . . .
This story is so excellent and followed right after “RELUCTANT ALPHA” which was also fantasic (found in the “Falling for Shifters” Limited Edition released earlier this month). Enjoy this book as well as the many others the authors have put together for you! You will have plenty to dive into with this collection!
“They say I killed her, my mother. And as I took my first breath, she took her last”
“Dance of Samhain” by Bethany Strobel is a short story originally included in the “Witchy Wonders Anthology” a Limited-Edition Paranormal Halloween Anthology published by Blue Crescent Book, that includes eighteen full length stories by some of the most acclaimed ‘witch-writers’ of the moment as well as a sneak peak of T.K Barber’s “The Witch Mechanic”.
The sheer diversity of authors and approaches to the theme offers at wide overview on these contemporary authors and allows the reader to sample different stories and find new favourites. A good, easy to read, interesting anthology, in which "Dance of Samhain" is one of the best.
Despite its length, five chapters in total, the tale is a complete and compelling story that follow Eimar story, a witch born in the night of Samhain, and rejected by the coven for the passing of her own mother at birth. The coven considered put her in the care of the druids, who believed her to be cursed due to her fast-growing white hair. The story tells Eimar story from the moment her parents meet to her own eighteen birthday. An eerie story of survival, resilience and the individual fight from freedom in the middle of adversity. “Dance of Samhain” is part of the Fated Immortals Series by Bethany Strobel, a well-written, interesting and compelling story that captivates the reader regardless of its length.
This is a fairly good collection of Halloween stories. The reason I decided to read this collection is the story Serendipity by Poppy Flynn and I am very glad that I did as it did not disappoint. Other stories that I liked are Hallowed Power by Lissa Lynn Thomas, Blood Moon on the Rise by Lauren Smith, Boo Humbug by Kit Blackwood, The Devil's Maids by Sasha Fino, Dance of Samhain by Strobel, All Hallow's Hex by N. J. Ember, and The Intercession by Stephanie Scissom. The others were a collection of Sneak Peaks & Prequels or parts of stories.
How could I not read this when authors I already enjoy reading, such as T.K.Barber, Bex Taylor, Zelda White, and Bethany Stroble. I could not pick a favorite. All stories are paranormal on SOME level....now some stories are steamy, some are sweet romance, some are fun, some are real page-turners. I would have read this anthology no matter what because just the cover alone drew me in. Yes, there are some stories with Halloween themes but this is NOT just a Halloween story collection.
I got to say. This is not my typical type of reading and not a genre I normally read but I really enjoyed it. It left me wanting to know more. Find out what else happens. I love a strong heroine and Cass is definitely that. Can’t wait for the rest of the series!
These are well written stories from multiple authors where witches, wizards, and ghouls deal with their individual issues with the help of their mates and friends. These characters are well-fleshed out with depth, chemistry and are they are very detailed. These stories will keep your attention and keep you wanting for more books from these Authors. These authors did a great job of writing each story in they were going through the lives and events of each character’s story. Although these series had a lot of the usual things we come to expect when reading about paranormal romances, the storylines took an interesting twists and turns These 20 Authors include: T.K. Barber, K. J. Sage, N.K. Stackhouse, Chris Storm, Helena Novak, Bex Taylor, Stefani Kenna, Mira Kane, Zelda Knight, Lauren Smith, N.J. Ember, Maria Vermisoglou, V. P. Note: This review is only for "Witching the Wolf" by Bex Taylor.
So, i felt like I missed some previous story, but couldn't find anything else in the series when I read this. The main characters refer to some other characters and events... but really this is a short interaction between 2 people who... start as enemies but become something else. Maybe? It's hard to nail down because I just feel like I've missed some major thing in the past or future for these people. Like, these are the 'bad guys' and this adds dimension, explains some unexpected complexity that changes things elsewhere. I just want to read the other thing now!
