For anyone in the healthcare industry, this should be a mandatory read. Cover-to-cover, Healthcare Information Security and Privacy is packed with valuable information. If the goal is a healthcare security certification, such as HCISPP, or just general knowledge, this book satisfies the need.

The only shortfall is time. I would love to have an updated revision to the book to cover changes in the industry since it was first published.

This is a difficult topic to cover well, so I have to give this book credit for trying, but I found a lot of the advice to be too high level to be of much use. I was hoping for something more specific and actionable - specific templates for guidance documents, etc.
