No emotions

Whilst the story was fast paced and gripping I found the attitudes and actions of both the parents and their family and friends unbelievable. They all just carried on with their lives as normal. They went out for drinks, meals, work, sports etc. This spoilt the whole thing for me.It may the characters intolerable and the whole thing unbelievable.

Do people read these books without even the semblance of a critical eye. This has a convoluted plot line and unbelievable event narrative.

A policeman and ex soldier's sons are kidnapped at gunpoint. . His police chief calls off the search after 48 hours because not solving the case will look bad on his record. The same chief expects his policemna to keep on working all the while his sons are missing. The policemand and his wife spend their time continuing clandestine affairs whilst searching playparks for their sons, going on double dates and birthday treats camoing and fishing.

The world and his wife seem to have something against the poor copper- including his two best friends and he has never noticed.

This is the biggest pile of rubbish, totally unbelievable. I gave up caring who did what.

Fast-paced thriller with deception rampant

I couldn't put this ebook down! The kidnapping of two little boys from the home of a policeman and his wife was the start of a Fast-paced search for the children and the kidnappers. The end was a complete surprise. You don't want to miss this exciting tale of deception and thrills.

Murder all around.

While it started as a good mystery with enough red herrings to fill a barrel, I would never recommend it because of the senseless violence and murder. The military angle doesn't fit for "brothers in arms" . It has serious pathological aspects I would not like for impressionable people to think of as a reality.

This is one of the best books that I have read in several years. Mr. Bellman did an excellent job of maintaining the mystery as well as developing the characters in the story. I plan to read more of his books.

Nothing stays Hidden

This book was really good especially for a first book. My brother wrote two books but they didn't do well. I loved your book. Please keep writing. Kathleen Ryan, Atlanta, GA.

Although the story line wasn’t terrible, it was an amateur attempt at writing. I would not recommend this book if you are an avid reader. The writing will frustrate you. If it hadn’t been a book club pick, i wouldn’t have finished it.

Too many unnecessary details that do not move the story forward. The ending sudden and contrived.

Great reading

This book kept me reading page after page. It had a good description of details but not to much. Never expected the ending! I will read more of his books.
