It's a pretty technical book so even though it is small it took awhile to finish but a lot of good tips and advice

I found it very helpful as it covers more practical aspects of coping and understanding Bipolar Disorder.

I feel like I'm travelling through time. When I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder at the age of 18, I had to deal with everything at once. Now, as I enter another stage of my life - Menopause - I feel like I'm learning everything all over again. It's a new challenge that I'm facing.

In the past, my parents supported me through my struggles. But now, as they have grown old, I am the one providing support to them. It can be difficult at times, but I have found rereading this book to be very helpful again.

For those who want to learn more about bipolar disorder or support a loved one through its stages, this book is a helpful resource.

The authors use cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) principles to provide straightforward guidance on managing and controlling Bipolar disorder.
You can find Real-life case studies, helpful chapter summaries and a complete list of support organisations and web groups.
It covers this condition's causes, treatment options, and implications, including mood monitoring, financial management, housing and social support, and sustaining healthy relationships.

It uses a respectful and inclusive tone, provides a valuable resource for a wide range of readers and helps to break down the stigma and stereotypes surrounding mental health.

I highly recommend this book. It offers a refreshing perspective on Bipolar Disorder and challenges the common misconception that people with mental health problems are less intelligent or capable. The book is comprehensive, well-written, and empowering.
