After getting trapped in the chemist peter meets up with other survivors and after hearing of the army evacuating people at the clydeside docks the group head for there but its not all plain sailing, what dangers await our group in this zombie apocalypse
I accidentally read this book out of order and got a few spoilers for the first book so don’t make that mistake.
This book reads like your inside Peter’s head getting a running commentary on everything he sees, hears and says. It’s a different style and may not be for everyone but it’s a short story and fast paced, so even if it’s not your preferred style it’s long read to get through if you want to find out what happened to Peter.
I wish it had spent more time with some of the scenes as it felt a little bit too fast at times, plus there is a lot of him finding just what he needs at the perfect time which took some of the thrill out of the story. That said for a short story there is a lot packed in so there were going to have to be some deus ex machina moments.
