Betrayal's Baby
Just about everyone everywhere has been betrayed. Someone you believed in, counted on or trusted has hurt you. When betrayal occurred, you most likely made mental notes of the incident-- the date, the time, and the guilty parties. You probably made a silent promise to yourself-- "I will never leave myself open like that again!" In Betrayal's Baby, Philomina "Bunny" Wilson recounts her pilgrimmage towards freedom. With the deft strokes of a master artist, she paints an unforgettable portrait of hurt, of hope and of healing through forgivness.

Everyone should read this book. The advice in this book has changed the way I think about how I should interact with everyone. It's hard but solid, godly advice. Now I just need to put it into practice...

The author is candid and transparent about her experiences and draws the reader to be honest about their own hurt, motives and any unforgiveness. It also shows how the pain hurt and betrayl recieved from others can be passed to our own children/family members causing a continual cycle of hurt, pain and bitterness if a real commitment is not made to let go and allow God to be the Righteous Judge, bring healing and even restoration to relationships. There is healing after betrayl and this book is is proof. Must read.

This book changed my life as it relates to the relationship with my mother. God allowed my relationship with my mother before she passed to heal from my side of things by using what I leaned from this book.

It helped me to see how my response to betrayal was on the right track as well as helping me to identify other areas of my life where I was betrayed.

This book hit me in a deep place because it’s not just about betrayal—it’s about what betrayal births in us. Reading it felt like looking in a mirror of how hurt can linger and shape how we love, trust, and show up in relationships.
What stood out to me most is how real the emotions are. The characters don’t just “move on” quickly; you feel the wrestling, the heartbreak, and the longing for healing. I related to that tug-of-war between wanting to believe someone loves you and knowing their actions don’t line up. That’s something I’ve walked through myself, and this book didn’t sugarcoat that reality.
For me, Betrayal’s Baby was a reminder that even though betrayal wounds us, it doesn’t have to define us. God can still write a new story in the places where trust was broken. It made me reflect on my own choices, soul ties, and the way I’ve sometimes accepted less than I deserved.
If you’ve ever been through heartbreak, struggled with forgiving someone who hurt you, or just want a story that makes you reflect on healing and faith, this book will sit with you long after you close it.

It's almost talking to you.
When I read it, I just wanted to know the story. I soon realized I somehow relate to this book.
