I was initially surprised I didn't like this book more. It had all the ingredients that I would normally find enjoyable in this type of book - lovely illustrations, quotes, poems and other interesting tit-bits such as recipes. On reflection, I've decided my three star rating is due to the topic. I had thought before reading that book was all about friendship, whereas it's actually about having tea with friends. While I enjoy a cup of tea, especially one with a friend, a book focussing on the experience fell a little flat for me. If it had been more focussed on friendship instead of tea, I would have enjoyed it more. It's a shame, as the book was given to me by a friend, and I was very much looking forward to reading it.
