This excellent book is a fun, interesting and engaging way to introduce young children to the importance of understanding, seeing, and accepting others who may look, act, and perform differently than themselves. It shows how anti-racism can be effectively addressed at a young age. Also, it shows how one can grow from kindness, cruelty and challenges. A great way to learn important lessons about life as children that could last a lifetime, especially when it comes to not being a racist in this diverse world we live in! Also, if you are discriminated against, while painful and discouraging, you should not let it stop you. A great lesson for a child to learn early in life! Highly recommended.
