From Despair to Millionaire: Growing Beyond Hardship

Rate this book
It's a truism that nothing worthwhile ever comes without a little hardship along the way.

Sometimes, a lot of hardship.

This is easy to forget, however, in the course of our daily lives. We get comfortable and settle into routines and feel as if everything is supposed to go our way. But then, when something unfortunate happens-a tragedy or a career setback or financial problems-we get shaken out of our comfort and think about how unfair life is.

But life is neither fair nor unfair.

Life is life-full of ups and downs and in-betweens. There are pitfalls and detours that come along with the easy stretches. The key is to be able to absorb it all and keep moving forward.

From Despair to Millionaire shares Eric Chasen's hardships. It's his journey from hardship, to turnaround, comeback, and, ultimately,  success and happiness. Eric's journey of resiliency serves as inspiration for others and shows readers how to appreciate the hardships in life. From Despair to Millionaire is a book for showing others how they too can turn difficulties into opportunities for motivation, personal growth, and becoming our best selves.

This book is fantastic. Tragedy after tragedy, Eric teaches us how to overcome a feeling of hopelessness in not only your career as well as your personal self-worth. He shows us how to embrace several key life tips that we all seem to forget in a world of instant satisfaction.

I thoroughly enjoyed his book and a true reminder if you follow the principals he has laid out and go back to basics of gratitude and respect, you are already half way there to your own professional as well as personal success. The future is in your hands.
