It’s showtime! Maika’i is rolling out the red carpet for a brand new movie filming in the little town’s shops, streets, and beaches! It’s Saffron’s ticket to adventure as she lands a bit part alongside two big stars in the year’s most playful romantic comedy.
But amidst all the glitz and glamour, someone goes quiet on the set and turns up dead. Though the paparazzi have their theories, Saffron’s unique color vision turns up clues that make her suspect cast and crew members alike.
Featuring all Saffron’s old friends, as well as some rising stars, Chick Flick sets the scene for intrigue. Right on cue, Saffron must step into the spotlight and solve the mystery before the credits roll.
This is one of my favorite series. Not just because it takes place in my favorite location in the world (Hawaii), but because I really like Saffron and her new ohana. I was glad to see Empress back as well. Looking forward to the next one!
I enjoy the description of Hawaii and I like the chickens . In this book the usual characters are present but the ending was too contrived to me. I will still want to continue reading the books because I have gotten to know the characters.p portions and
Just when you thought you had it all figured out. You just never know what trouble a bird with an attitude can create. I want to spend a week at the farm and just watch what happens to our heroine and her feathered friends.
I love this series. It engages real situations, even as it’s set in a tropical paradise. Characters are so real (I especially love Mano!), and tension builds convincingly. Excellent in all ways.
Well, I am still reading, still learning and still loving a chicken farm detective lady Lots going on in Hawaii. More than chickens too. Let's see what's going to happen next.
